Unit 3 《At the zoo A Let’s learn 》教学设计
一、教学内容分析
《Unit 3 At the zoo》一课是人教版小学英语PEP教材三年级下册第三单元的内容。动物这一主题的相关单词和句型在三年级上册曾经出现过。学生是在学习了zoo, bird, tiger, monkey, panda, elephant. duck, pig, cat, bear, dog 以及What’s this/What’s that It’s a ... 的基础上继续学习。本课时教学图片提供的是以Amy,Mike 和Miss White她们三个去参观动物园场景展下呈现了核心句型Look at that giraffe. Wow! It’s so tall! Ha! It’s short and fat! 同时通过参观动物园的情境呈现本课时的新授单词:fat , tall, short本课时的教学目标是要求学生能够理解对话大意,能够用正确的语音语调朗读对话,并能在图片和教师的帮助下,在语境中运用Look at that... It’s (so)...来交流图片上的动物特征信息。
二、教学目标基于以上学情分析以及教材分析,我将教学目标制定如下:
1、能力目标:
(1)能够根据录音,正确的跟读、模仿对话。
(2)能用正确的语音语调朗读对话,表演对话内容。
(3)能够在图片、实物或情境的帮助下运用句型Look at that... Wow!/Ha! It’s (so)... 描述动物的特征。
2、知识目标:
(1)听、说、认读单词:giraffe, tall, short, fat .
(2)能听懂、会说句型:Look at that... Wow!/Ha! It’s (so)...
(3) 学生能够正确的理解对话内容。
3、情感目标: 培养学生热爱动物、保护动物的意识。
(2)通过语音拓展训练,帮助学生提高英语拼读能力。
4、学习策略: 通过小组合作的学习方式培养和提高学生的合作意识,提高学生的学习能力。
5、文化意识: 学生通过读图了解到游览动物园应该遵守规则。
三、教学重难点
1、教学重点:
(1)听、说、认读单词:giraffe, tall, short, fat.
(2)能听懂、会说句型:Look at that... Wow!/Ha! It’s (so)...
2、教学难点:
在实际情景中运用句型“Look at that... Wow!/Ha! It’s (so)...”
四、教学过程
一、复习热身
Teacher shows pictures and asks. Students review the animals.
T: What’s that
Ss: It’s a duck...
(设计意图:学生都喜欢小动物,而且喜欢游戏。所以复习环节我通过课件给学生出示一个转盘的形状,通过箭头的不同指向,学生抢答复习动物的相关单词,为本节课句型的学习打下基础。)
二、新课呈现
1. Teacher and students do the chant together.
2. Teacher shows the animals, students practice the sentence.
T: This time, I show the animals. You say the sentences “Look at the...”
Ss: Look at the dog. Look at the cat. Look at the duck.
T: What colour is it
Ss: It’s yellow and orange.
T: How about this one
Ss: Look at the bear. Look at the pig.
T: What colour is it
Ss: It’s pink.
T: How about this one
Ss: Giraffe.
T: Giraffe. Pay attention /f/.
Ss:/f/.
T: Who can read
S1: Giraffe.
T: Follow her. Another one
S2: Giraffe.
T: Follow him. You practice in your groups. How to read this one
Ss: Giraffe.
T: We know if we want to describe somethings. We can use “Look at... It’s ...”(板书).
(设计意图:本环节主要是老师和学生一起通过chant复习主要句型“Look at ... It’s... 教师第二遍以出示动物卡片的形式,学生进一步练习主要句型,同时在练习中学生学习新的单词giraffe.”)
3. Teacher ask, students answer. Students learn the new word.(tall)
T: Look at the giraffe. What colour is it
Ss: It’s yellow and orange.
T: Look at them. We can say the yellow giraffe is tall. Show me your finger. /t/Students practice in groups.
(设计意图:本环节主要是通过黑板上的动物,让学生直观的进行对比,学习新授单词tall.这样的教学方式可以加深学生对于单词的理解。)
4.T: Do you like animals
Ss: Yes.
T: I like animals, too. Let’s go to the zoo. In your group, you have your own zoo. If you do well, your group can get a picture and then put the picture on the card.OK

(设计意图:此环节给学生出示展板,讲明评价规则,提高学生学习的积极性。)
5. T: Let’s go. Look at the pictures, what animals do you see
S1: I see the bear and the giraffe.
T: Who are they Ss: They are Amy, Zhang Peng and Miss White.(
设计意图:出示课本上的图片,让学生自己观察,提高学生的读图能力。)
6. T: What are they talking about Let’s listen. Listen carefully. Let’s talk:(听两遍)
Miss White: Look at that giraffe.
Zhang Peng: Wow! It’s so tall.
Amy: A bear!
Zhang Peng: Ha! It’s short and fat.
7.T: Which one is right
Ss: A.T: Let’s check it. A is right. They are talking about the bear and the giraffe. Look at that giraffe. Pay attention “that giraffe”. Look at that giraffe.
Ss: Look at that giraffe.
T: Look at the bear. Who is tall Giraffe or bear
Ss: Giraffe.
T: So we can say Look at that giraffe. It’s tall. Look at that giraffe. It’s tall. You can practice in your groups.
Boys: Look at that giraffe.
Girls: It’s tall.
T: Let’s change.
Girls: Look at that giraffe.
Boys: It’s tall.
(设计意图:通过听录音回答问题的环节,让学生初步感知对话内容。然后进一步出示课本上的图,学生学习主要句型“Look at that giraffe. It’s tall.”.在情境中学习,有助于提高学生的语言运用能力。)

(设计意图:三年级的学生由于年龄的特点,他们对于形象直观的物体更容易理解,本环节主要是通过图片和视频来帮助学生学习。尤其是视频,给学生带来了视觉的冲击,同时让学生真切的感受到了本课时的重难点句型“Wow! It’s so tall.”的语义。视频很好的起到了突破重难点的
