Step 1. Warm-up (3')
1.Show the students a picture of Scarborough Fair and play the music of Are You Going to Scarborough Fair. Let the students pay attention to the sentences in structure---be going to.
2.Show the students the topic and objectives of this lesson.
3.Get the students read ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) through the words in the left box while the students follow them; then read through again and have the students repeat them
4.Ask some students t ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )o look at the pictures and read out the important phrases.
Check my email, have a picnic, go to a party, stay in bed, buy some clothes, have a piano lesson, get up early, revise for my test, do my homework
Step 2. Check the spelling (2')
1. Get the students to look at the pictures on the book. Let them read through model, make sure that they can understand the sentence.
2. Work in pairs to write the words.
3. Get some students to read their words and share their answers in the whole class.
Step 3. Listen (5')
Activity 1: Listen and match the words and expression from Box A with the word and expressions from Box B.

2. Listen to the ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) tape again and read through the dialogue by themselves.
3. Get the students to read the dialogue again and answer the questions and share their answers with their partners.

1. The teacher plays the tape and asks the students to follow to read.

3. Put them in pai ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )rs to practice the pronunciation of /ai/, /i/ /i:/ . Pay attention to the letter y in some words, like buy, my.
4. Ask some students to read the words. Correct their mistakes.
5. Circulate and monitor their production.

1. Get the students to read through the examples so that the students know what to do.
