【学情分析】
第四单元的学习主题是Hobbies,在本单元的第一课,我们将要学习hobby, different, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, singing, dancing, skateboarding, making models, collecting erasers等描述兴趣爱好的单词和短语,学会运用本课句型“Different people have different hobbies. I like … She / He likes …”简单描述自己及他人的兴趣爱好,并在彼此的交流与分享中学会相互倾听、相互帮助,尊重别人与自己的不同之处。
在单词教学中,read books, sing songs, dance这些单词和词组在三年级下册已经学过,因此在本课当中只需要做简略学习即可。由于本课生词较多、较长,而且像“different,doing jigsaw puzzles”这样的单词和词组对于学生而言又比较难记,所以我采用了“化整为零、潜移默化、逐步攻破”的方式来导入——我们以“猜猜相同或不同?”的游戏来开始本节课的学习,将doing jigsaw puzzles这个词组分三次与学生熟悉的单词作对比,让学生通过闪词的方式快速辨别大屏幕上的两个词是“different”还是“same”, 这样一来,不但突破了教学难点,也将新授内容引向一个轻松有趣又扣人心弦的新高潮!
【学习目标】
知识目标:
1.能够听懂、会说hobby, different, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, singing, dancing, skateboarding, making models, collecting erasers等描述兴趣爱好的单词和短语;
2.结合具体语境恰当使用以上词语,学会运用本课句型“Different people have different hobbies. I like … She / He likes …”简单描述自己及他人的兴趣爱好。
能力目标:
使学生能够根据本课B,C部分的例句在具体语境中灵活地学以致用。
情感态度与价值观方面:
在日常生活中培养自己丰富多彩的兴趣爱好,在彼此的交流与分享中学会相互倾听、相互帮助,尊重别人与自己的不同之处。
重点:
新单词、词组的认读以及在具体语境中的运用。
难点:
1. like一词的第三人称单数形式在具体语境中的使用;
2. 在生动的语言情境中潜移默化地训练学生组词成句、组句成章的能力。
【教学过程】:
I. Greeting: Let’s say “Hello”!
II. 歌曲互动:
课前,我和学生们一起用唱唱跳跳的形式再一次演绎了“ABC song”, 在欢快的节奏和韵律中我们用“TPR”将课前热身做得尽情尽兴!
III. Leading to title(导入):
Teacher:You’re wonderful! I am so happy!
Can you spell the word “happy”
Show the word card “happy”.
Change the word: happy—hobby—hobbies
利用学生已经熟知的单词happy引出单词hobby,再引出hobby的复数形式hobbies, 在自然的语言环境中完成第一个新单词的学习,同时导入课题“Today ,we’re going to talk about different hobbies ! ”
IV. Presentation, Drills and Practice:
1. Learning the words : different, reading, singing, dancing
Game: “Different or the same ”
Teacher:Do you know the game “Different or the same ”
Students: Yes ! (They have done it before. So they know the game.)
There are two or more words on the screen, and the students must remember if they’re the same or different in three seconds. Then the picture will be away, and the students must tell “different” or “the same”, and then ,they will go on to tell what they’ve remembered from the picture.
在此环节中,学生们通过游戏“相同或不同”习得了单词different, reading, singing, dancing,在三年级下册中,read books, sing songs, dance这些单词和词组就已经学过,因此在本课当中,reading, singing, dancing只需要做简略学习和认知即可。需要强调的是,dance这一词变为dancing时要去掉词尾字母e.
2. Learning the phrase : doing jigsaw puzzles
(继续游戏“Different or the same ”)
大屏幕分三轮显示三组单词jig job —— saw paw——puzzle puzzles,通过闪卡的形式展现给学生,学生除了要凭记忆说出“different” or “the same”以外,还要回忆和记住刚才大屏幕上所展示的单词。由此环节,我们潜移默化地分三轮通过对比记忆和自然拼音的方法分别学习了单词jigsaw和puzzles,从而doing jigsaw puzzles这个词组的学习也随之完成。在大屏幕上展示单词的同时,我会同时出示例句“I like doing jigsaw puzzles. ”学生通过例句演练简短的对话交流来练习该词组。
3. Learning the phrases : skateboarding
(1) 复习拓展,导入新知
Teacher: Do you like doing jigsaw puzzles?
Students: Yes, I do.
No, I don’t. (…)
Teacher: I don’t like doing jigsaw puzzles. I think it’s boring. I like drawing pictures. And I also have many other hobbies. What are my hobbies Guess!
教师用简笔画在黑板上展示词组playing ping-pong, jumping rope, reading, singing(学生依次说出句子“Ms Xiao likes ...”), 当老师画出滑板时,引出新词组skateboarding, 并出示例句“He likes skateboarding. ”这里再一次强调like一词第三人称单数形式的使用方法。
(2)语篇练习(由词组句——由句成篇):
Different people have different hobbies.
I like skateboarding.
I like reading, too.
She likes skateboarding.
She likes singing, too.
He likes skateboarding.
He likes dancing, too.
a.读一读,说一说
b.照样子改一改,说一说
4. Learning the phrases : making models, collecting erasers
结合图片、例句与实物教学(放飞纸飞机)学习以上词组,并在学习完该词组后分层次呈现两组语篇进行递进地拓展运用。
a. 语篇拓展:
Different people have different hobbies.
I like skateboarding and making models.
I like reading, too.
She likes skateboarding and making models.
She likes doing jigsaw puzzles, too.
He likes skateboarding and making models.
He likes dancing, too.
b.语篇拓展:
Different people have different hobbies.
I like ________ and ________.
I like reading, too.
She likes ________ and ________.
She likes singing, too.
He likes ________ and ________.
He likes dancing, too.
V. 复习运用与拓展练习
1.(详见学案)完成学案第一题,英汉互译,并以小组合作的方式互考、互助,把自己不会的或不熟练的单词和词组掌握熟练。
2.完成学案上的仿写练习并交流、展示。
