课题: 英语(四年级下)Unit 6 Lesson 2 课时:第二课时
教材分析
本课是人民教育出版社出版的《英语》四年级下册第六单元第二课的内容。本单元主题是国家,围绕着几个不同的国家展开对话,主要了解不同的国家所拥有的不同文化背景。本课是本单元的第二课时,在第一课时学习“Where are you from I’m from ...”这一功能句型的基础上,了解并掌握Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia, China,这几个国家的标志性事物:maple leaves, Disneyland, Big Ben, koalas,能根据语境和实际情况进行表达:You can visit/see ... in my country。通过本课的知识学习,让学生们了解不同国家的典型象征物,进一步认知不同国家的文化背景。本课动词词组为学习重点理解并运用。
学情分析
对于四年级学生来说,他们有一定英语知识基础,并对英语保持着一定的好奇心和兴趣。因为英语课上有很多国外的知识和文化,是孩子们喜闻乐见的内容,所以他们对课文知识比较感兴趣,并具有一定的自主学习能力。因此在教学设计上尽量发挥学生主体作用,突出学生习得知识的能力。本课知识围绕着五个国家的典型象征物展开教学,因此在设计本课时注重单元教学的整体性同时也关注知识的连续性。在学习了国家名称的基础上展开对文化背景的认知学习和了解,这样循序渐进式的教学方式结合着有效的课堂活动就会帮助学生们学习新知。根据我校学生的实际能力水平,我对教学内容进行了适当的扩展,通过五个国家的不同典型象征物的学习认知让孩子们进一步了解课外的世界,最大限度地提升学生们的听说读写能力。
教学目标
语言知识目标在认知五个国家的前提下,通过语境学习理解和运用新词组:visit Big Ben, see maple leaves, see koalas, visit Disneyland, visit the Great Wall。了解五个国家的典型象征物,理解熟读对话。语言技能目标能够听懂、会说: You can visit/see... In... 在学习运用句式的过程中了解能愿动词can的用法和一般现在时的运用。学习策略目标通过规律性的认知学习方式,培养学生逐步形成善听,善思,善学,善说的学习能力。在学习和运用语言的过程中锻炼学生与他人交流的沟通能力和交际策略。情感态度目标通过本课的学习,学生们认知五个不同国家的典型象征物,加深对世界和其他国家的人文知识了解和热爱。文化意识目标让学生们在课堂上感受不同国家地域的文化背景。
教学重点及难点
教学重点学习、运用词组Big Ben, see maple leaves, see koalas, visit Disneyland, the Great Wall能在上节课知识点学习的基础上运用句型: I can visit/see... in... 进行表述。教学难点 单词leaf的复数形式变化leaves以及正确表达新句式。
设计思路及教学基本策略
根据《课程标准》的要求,面向全体学生,关注语言学习者不同特点和个体差异,丰富课程资源,拓展英语学习渠道。本课教学设计就是基于学生的学情和认知水平,以教材对话为基础,考虑语言学习的渐进性和持续性,旨在培养学生学习英语的兴趣和综合语用能力。教学中我精心设计了教学ppt,查找了相关的视频和丰富的图片等教学资源,帮助学生能进一步了解学习内容,加深对国家文化的认知,提升他们对英语学习的兴趣。通过循序渐进的课堂教学活动设计,学习内容以旧带新,由浅入深,循序渐进地展开。首先由一首“Where are you from ”的歌曲营造英语氛围,介绍爱旅游的Dora给学生们,通过Dora的视角来了解认知五个国家的典型标志物,使学生在感受地域文化的同时掌握所学内容,并通过巧妙地过度让学生们学习到重点词汇,理解对话内容并能创编文本,从而提升学生听、说、读、写和运用英语语言的能力。本课教学设计在关注传授教材内容的同时,也注重培养学生对世界国家的认知,对国外文化背景的了解和友好交往及热爱生活的情感意识。基于以上的设计意图,我通过互联网搜集了适合本地学生学情的教学资源,在学生们没有条件的情况下为他们提供了解外面更广阔世界的空间。课堂教学中我才用了情景交际法和互动问答法来夯实学生的基础知识,并在此基础上让学生们围绕着教材提供的主题展开话,达到语用的目的。教学过程中创编了多个chant,来帮助学生们加深对典型标志物的认知和记忆,激发学生们对外面世界的好奇心,并潜移默化地培养学生与人友好交往,热爱生活的积极情感态度。本课教学主要采用认知策略,资源策略和交际策略。认知策略运用中借助ppt展示文本、图片、视频从各种感官角度增强学生对新知的感知。围绕小天使做导游展开一系列的国家认知和介绍,更增加了学习的趣味性。资源策略中通过课外图片资源的搜集利用,为学生增添认知外面世界的氛围,增加学生的知识输入容量,为语用输出做好铺垫。采用交际策略,学生在倾听,学习,互动的认知过程中学会用英语表达自己的观点,提高师生,生生用英语进行沟通和交流的能力。
资源开发及说明
多媒体资源:本课运用了PPT教学课件,及教学视频并收集了大量的相关图片,对于四年级学生来说是极具吸引力的,从视觉和听觉上帮助学生理解新知,加深对新知的印象。并通过多种教学手段激发学生们学习兴趣,丰富学生认知世界,热爱生活的积极情感。文本资源:教材内容是对话形式,围绕来自某个国家进行询问和介绍展开的对话文本。结合教材内容我为学生创编了Dora到五个国家旅游的主线,在教材文本的基础上创编了新文本以辅助文本教学,以扩充他们的语言储备,提升他们英语表述的能力。图片资源: 在PPT中出示世界地图和国旗图片,板书上也出示相应的图片,直观地呈现帮助学生理解文本,更精准地认知文本内容。

Dora是孩子们喜闻乐见的动画形象,她来自美国。可爱的卡通形象激起孩子的们的好奇心,吸引了他们的注意力。开心地跟着Dora一起开启了今天的英语课程。学生们带着任务根据Dora的介绍很轻松地回答出老师的提问,从问题中了解到知识要点:国家,爱好,标志性建筑。通过回答问题展开对新知的学习。Dora来自美国,从美国本土开始学习之旅,迪斯尼是孩子们喜爱的地方,看到各种可爱的形象让学生更是开心不已。通过短片的欣赏直观感知了迪斯尼乐园的人潮涌动,美轮美奂的景致让他们彷如身临其境。通过Dora的介绍,学生一定非常好奇,也想和她去看看。Dora收集到了一面国旗,她的一句“Who can help me ”大大地激发了学生的好奇心。Magic map的出现更加增添了神秘感。Dora来到了加拿大,欣赏了美丽的枫叶,还认识了Edward, 随着故事主线的的推进,学生不仅学习新知还能欣赏异域风情。大大地提升了学生的学习热情。欣赏加拿大枫叶图片,倾听老师对枫叶之国的介绍,激发他们感受美景热爱生活的美好情感。学会知识,学会欣赏,学会表达,学生们在课堂上不仅能学到知识而且还可以感受自然和世界带来的美好。 一个谜语激发孩子们的思考热情,通过积极地思考和猜测,学生学习情绪再次高涨起来。学习不仅仅是掌握单词而已,更重要是了解事物生活中真实的样子。Dora收集到了第三面国旗,这一清晰的主线一直贯穿教学内容的始终,让学生学习更具有目标性。来到中国本土,学生们成为了主角,介绍自己熟知的标志性事物更是手到擒来。所以在此给学生更多展示的机会,让他们大胆表达。同时也为后面的文本输出做好铺垫。了解祖国的名山大川,欣赏美景愉悦学生的身心,促使他们更好地投入到学习中去。猜猜雾蒙蒙的城市是哪里?这个问题激发了学生的好奇心,调动了他们的思维。通过了解大本钟的知识加深了对英国文化的认识和了解。Dora的日记记录了她在各国旅游的所见所感。通过阅读日记帮助学生回顾了所学知识,也为学生们梳理了本课重点。每个孩子在阅读之后都会收获到一面小国旗,这种奖励更能激发学生参与学习的意识,提高他们学习的积极性。Dora在日记中记录到她在各国结识了一些朋友,而且还用微信保持了联系。这样引出了彬彬和汤姆的对话,自然而然地呈现了本科的对话。通过回答问题了解学生对对话的理解和掌握情况。
