Do you have plans for your summer holiday
Do you have plans for your summer holiday Good plans help you spend a meaningful and excellent holiday.
Jason Moore, 18 This summer, I'll volunteer with Special House Program. The workers there are well trained and they have a lot of building experience. They build good, low-cost houses and sell them to the poor. They'll teach me what to do, and then I am going to have a chance to learn how to build houses.
Richard Smith, 14 I am writing to my pen friend abroad, telling him what I want to do during my holidays. My classmates and I will go on a one-day picnic on the beach of Oneida Lake. My math and chemistry are not good enough, so I will spend two weeks on extra lessons. And the rest of the holiday I will go lazing around, listen to music or watch some programs on television.
Mark Perez. 17There are many things that I would like to do in my holidays. First of all will visit all my friends by turns. Besides, my classmates and I will organize cricket (板球) matches in the Fitness Gym during the holiday. Cricket is my favorite sport. I am looking forward to playing in the matches and bringing honors to our team.
Alexi Brown. 15 This year, we have planned a long trip to Mongolia which has the most beautiful grassland. I think it is going to be an enjoyable holiday. We are going to stay in a cottage(小木屋)and visit all the most famous places in Mongolia. I hope the weather is going to be favorable for us when we are there.

What is a resolution
What is the best resolution
What is a resolution Do you know It’s a kind of promise. Most of the time, we make promises 1 other people. For example, “Mom, I promise that I’m going to 2 my room when I get back from school.” However, promises you make to yourself are resolutions, and the most common kind is New Year’s resolutions. The 3 of the year is often a time for making resolutions. When we make resolutions at the beginning of the year, we hope that we are going to improve our lives. Some people might say they are going to 8 a hobby like painting or taking photos, or learn to play the guitar. Some resolutions have to do with better planning, like making a weekly plan for their study. For example, a student may have to find more time to study.
Although there are differences, most resolutions have one thing in common. People hardly ever keep them! There are good reasons 9 this. Sometimes the resolutions may be 10 difficult to keep. Sometimes people just forget about them. For this reason, some people say the best resolution is to have no resolutions! How about you — will you make any next year

Have you ever set a goal for yourself
Once you set a goal, what do you do with it
Have you ever set a goal for yourself, like getting fit or being picked for a team Like lots of people, maybe you started out doing great, but then lost some of that drive and had trouble getting motivated again. Everyone struggles to stay motivated and reach their goals. Here are some effective tips.
Check in with your goal.
It helps if you write down your small goals in the same way you write down your big goal. That way you can follow what you need to do, check off tasks as you finish them, and enjoy knowing that you're moving toward your big goal. If you're feeling weak on willpower, you can look at your list to help you change!
Go on with your goal if you slip up (出差错).
If you slip up, don't give up. Forgive yourself and make a plan for getting back on road. Pat yourself on the back for everything you did right. Don't beat yourself up, no matter how far of track you get. Most people slip up when trying to make a change—it's an unavoidable part of the process.
Share with a friend.
Another way is having supportive people around you. Having a goal partner can make all the difference in times when you don't feel motivated. If you're not getting support from someone when you really need it, you may need to take a break from that friendship and make fiends with people who want to help you succeed.
Don't give up!
Ending an unhealthy behavior or creating a new, exciting one is all about taking responsibility for our lives. Finding the motivation to do it isn't easy, but it is always possible. You can stay motivated by writing down your small goals, sticking to your plan, and reminding yourself of what led you to set your goal in the first place. Change is exciting—we'd all be very bored without it.
Good luck in reaching your goals!

I think it will be great if they invent something so that we only have to sleep for one or two hours every day. Then we'd all have much more time to do things and to enjoy ourselves. Life would be better, I think, and everyone would do a lot more with their lives.
Miguel
If I could choose anything, I'd go for a time machine so that I could go back and do some things differently. Of course, that's impossible一but wouldn't it be great if it was possible I wish I could go back in time to when I was a kid and say some of the things in a different way!
Hannah
Well, of course, the best thing is medicine for really bad diseases(疾病). A lot of scientists are working very hard to stop diseases like Ebola, a terrible disease that has killed many thousand people in Africa. So if they found a special treatment for Ebola, or a way of completely preventing it, life would be easier in so many places.
Isabella
It will be great if there is some kind of fuel(燃料)we can use in cars that won't produce any pollution. I guess there are scientists right now trying to do that, and I hope they'll succeed because the world would be a much cleaner place, wouldn't it

Have you ever imagined what life will be like in 2060
What may you do at that time
Have you ever imagined what life will be like in 2060 An international group of forty scientists have made some surprising predictions. They said that in the next forty years, our lives would change beyond our wildest dreams.
Firstly, human beings can grow body parts themselves. Professor Ellen Heber-Katz is one of the forty scientists. He says, "People will take it for granted that injured or sick organs can be repaired. It's just like the way we fix a car." Damaged parts will be taken away. Scientists could use human cells to grow new organs. New technologies like this will also help people to live longer. Within forty years, most people will be able to live for up to one hundred years.
Secondly, the scientists have predicted that a machine will be invented to "read" the minds of animals. In 2060, we will be able to "talk" to animals. Scientists say that human beings could first "talk" with mammals and then vertebrates such as fish.
Our houses might also change beyond our imagination. Professor Susan Greenfield predicts that when you enter the living room, sensors will recognize you. They will turn on the lights. If you talk to the lights, they will change to the color of your choice.
But what would be the biggest break through over the next forty years A number of scientists believe it would be the discovery of aliens. NASA scientist Chris McKay says, "We may find aliens in space and talk with them." He believes evidence of alien life may even be found here on Earth.
Does life in 2060 sound cool to you Let's wait and see what will really happen then!
