【教学目标】

2．Asking wh-questions to find out what people hear.
【教学重难点】
1．Using formulaic expressions to indicate what people hear.
2．Using formulaic expressions to indicate what noises animals make.
【教学过程】
一、Part 1
Activity 1:
Use the sounds animals make to elicit the new words and the key pattern.
Activity 2
Ask the students to listen to the song on student’s Book page 9 while they look at the corresponding picture, Have the students look at the picture while you describe it. Then ask the students questions to elicit the general meaning of the song.
Activity 3
Ask the students to role-play.
二、While-task procedures
Activity 1
Ask the students to say and mimic the sounds of each farm animal.
Activity 2
Have the students listen several times to the song on Student’s Book and act as different farm animals to sing the song.
Activity 3
Ask the students to play the game on Student’s Book. Then let them say in groups.
Activity 4
Divide the class into pairs. Ask one student to imitate the sounds of farm animals and have the other one guess what the animals is.
三、Post-task activities
Activity 1
Ask the students to do “Listen and number” on Workbook page 6 and then have them practice in pairs.
Activity 2
Have the students do “Listen, tick and answer” on Workbook.
Activity 3
Ask the students to make dialogues in pairs.
