You are standing at A.

Find your way:

When we speak, we drop our tone at the end of a statement.
1. There is a path between the hills.
2. Pandas are cute.
3. There’s an English Corner at Sunny Garden this Saturday afternoon.
(If possible, ask the students to give more sentences)
When we ask a yes/no question, our tone rises at the end of the question.

We make our tone rise at the end of a sentence to show surprise.

B: Three kilometres
A: I’m going to visit my new neighbours.
B: Visit your new neighbours
When we ask a wh- question, our tone usually falls at the end of the question.
