表示正在发生的事情或动作，一般由look , listen , now , at this moment等时间状语做标志。
现在进行时
表示正在发生的事情或动作，常和now，look，listen连用。一般由look,listen,now,at this moment等时间状语做标志。
如：We are listening to music now.　
我们现在正在听音乐。
Listen! He i s playing the piano.
听！他正在弹钢琴。

二．句子结构
1．be + 动词现在分词（即：动词-ing形式），be + doing 是一个整体，不能分开。
2．be 随着主语的变化而变化，doing的变化规则根据现在分词的变化规律来定。
例： I am playing football. 我在踢足球。
Are you sleeping now 你在睡觉吗？
He is dancing with Mary. 他在和Mary跳舞。
They are watching TV. 他们在看电视。

三．动词现在分词的构成规律
1．一般情况下,在动词原形后直接加-ing；
如：work→working do→doing　　play→playing
2．以不发音字母e结尾的动词，先去掉e，再加-ing；
如：dance→dancing　　come→coming
3．在重读闭音节（即：辅音＋元音＋辅音）的动词中，要先双写末尾的辅音字母，再加-ing；
如：get→getting　 shop→shopping　run→running　 swim→swimming
4．以ie结尾的重读闭音节词，将ie改成y再加ing。
如：lie→lying die→dying

1.现在进行时的肯定句句型
（1） 第一人称：主语 + am + 现在分词 + ……
如. I am watching TV. 我现在看电视。
（2） 第三人称单数：主语 + is + 现在分词 + ……
如. She is washing the dishes. 她正在洗碗
（3） 第二人称及复数人称：主语 + are + 现在分词 + ……
如. They are skipping. 他们正在跳绳.

如. He isn't watching TV. 他没在看电视。
I am not cooking. 我没有在做饭。

句型：相应be动词 + 主语 + 现在分词 + ……？
如. Are you dancing 他们正在跳舞吗？
Is he drawing a picture 他正在画一张画吗？

肯定回答：Yes, 主语 + 相应be动词。
否定回答：No, 主语 + 相应be动词 + not。
如. Are you listening to the music Yes, I am. / No, I am not.
你正在听音乐吗？是的，我正在听。/ 不，我没在听。
Is Aunt Wang knitting a sweater No, she isn't.
王阿姨正织毛衣吗？不，她没有。

如. What are you doing 你正在干什么？

6.现在进行时特殊疑问句的答语
回答特殊疑问时，根据不同的疑问词的情况来决定回答方式。
回答what提问时，答语是现在进行时的肯定形式；
回答who提问时，只需说明主语是谁，再加相应的be动词即可。
如. What is he doing He is writing a letter. 他正在干什么？他正在写信。
Who is swimming in the lake Jim is. 谁正在湖里游泳？吉姆正在游泳。
