2. 新课呈现(Presentation)
(1)设置情境,问题引入
教师出示本课PPT(大坨小学附近的简易地图),就图片和学生讨论,在师生、生生之间的交流中熟悉与本课相关的情境,为后续学习打下基础。
T:How can I get to Qilihai middle school
让学生试着回答
S:You can get there by bus等等。引出本课内容。播放本课图片,本课主要人物Li Yan和Yang Ming.
T:What’s in the picture
S: There are three people, a bus stop and a man in it.
T:Do you know the children Who are they
S: Li Yan and Yang Ming.
T: What are they doing
S: They are talking to the man.
T: Yes. The man can’t find his way to somewhere.
T: Do you want to know where the man wants to go
S: Yes.
T: Let’s watch the video.
(2)播放动画,整体感知,解答疑问
学生根据图片和听到的内容,回答问题: Where does the man want to go
S: the City Library.
T: How do you know
S: The man says“How can I get to the City Library ”
PPT中划出关键句,教师板书,并提问:
T: How can the man get to the City Library
S: He can go there by No.6 bus.
T: Yes, you’re right!
同样PPT中划出关键句,教师板书,并通过图片讲解bus stop, by No. 6 bus.
(3)重播动画,深入理解
T: What else does the man want to know Please watch and find out.
S: Is it far from here
Where is the bus stop
(4)精读课文,找问题的答案
学生自己读对话,找出这两个问题的答案
T: Is the City Library far from here
S: No, it’s about half an hour by bus.
T: Where is the bus stop
S: It’s just over there.
学生在突破了语言点的基础上再次听录音,整体理解对话,从而对如何问路、指路的表达有了更深的印象,便于以后在实际生活中的运用。
(5)小组交流,深入了解
T: The City Library isn’t far from here. It takes half an hour to get there by bus. It’s about half an hour by bus.
教师通过汽车站牌讲解You can get off the bus at the third stop.
在师生、生生交流中,学生自然地进行新词、新句的理解和学习。
(6)课文模仿
教师提醒学生注意模仿语音及语调,提高朗读水平。
(7)分角色表演对话
学生三人一小组,分角色表演本课对话。
3. 深入操练(Practice)
利用本课地图,模拟男人和Li Yan、Yang Ming
进行地图上其他地方的问路和指路的问答,如the clothes shop, the toy shop等,对话可以根据本课对话编演。
4. 拓展活动(Production)
教师交代活动情境:你在你家小区门口遇上一个外国友人,简单交流之后,他得知他想去银行,请你告诉他路线,并画成简图。比一比谁指的路线最清晰、最快捷,语言表达最完整,两人一小组进行情景表演。
5. 小结(summary)

引导学生从句型、情感态度、等方面总结。
6. 作业(Homework)
