Countries Lesson1
一、学情分析
在学习本课前，学生已经通过本单元的主情境图对所学内容有了初步概念。在主情境图中，隐形呈现了本单元重点词汇：China,the UK,the USA,Canada,Australia.显性呈现了本单元的功能句：Where are you from？I’m from ... 有了这些初步概念铺垫，继续学习本课的内容难度并不是很大，但学生对于词句的应用和掌握能力还有点微弱，需要在此方面加以培养。
二、教材分析
《Lesson1》是人教2011课标版出版的四年英语下册第六单元《Countries》的第一个课。意在让学生听懂会说五个国家单词，询问他人来自哪个国家和自己是哪国人的句子，并尝试在恰当的情景中运用。
三、教学目标
1. 能够听懂、会说Canada，Australia，the UK，the USA,China等单词，并尝试借助拼读规律记住单词。
2. 能够根据图片或情境，初步运用I’m from ...表达自己来自哪个国家。
3. 能够根据语境，选择本课所学词汇完成句子填空，同时强化良好的书写习惯。
4. 能够初步了解五个国家的文化背景知识。
四、教学重难点
重点：能够听懂、会说Canada，Australia，the UK，the USA,China等单词，并尝试借助拼读规律记住单词。
能够根据图片或情境，初步运用I’m from ...表达自己来自哪个国家。
能够根据语境，选择本课所学词汇完成句子填空，同时强化良好的书写习惯。

导入
师：First，Let's watch a video. In the video,You can see some landmarks of an old country. So you can guess what country it is (China导入)
生：It’s China.
师：Many famous people are from China. And all of us are from China,too.We are proud of China. Because China is a great part of the world.And the world is too big.So there are many other countries in the world.
师：And today some students who are from different countries come to China.Do you want to know where are they from (其他国家导入)
生：Yes.
活动一：Chant
师：Today Edward comes to China. He wants to introduce himself to us.Let’s listen.
师：Edward is great. And can you say the chant
Excellent!And we know Edward is from Canada.So boys and girls,Do you know Canada If you go to Canada, what can you see in Canada (其他国家依次同上)
活动二：Symbols of the country
师：What can you see in Canada
生1：I can see ... in Canada.(随后出示对应图片)
生2：I can see ... in Canada.(随后出示对应图片)
Excellent! We know something about Canada now.
活动三：Introduce the country
师：Can you say more things about Canada
生1：Canada is a beautiful country .Toronto is the biggest city in Canada.
生2：If you go to Canada, you can see beavers. The beavers are very cute.
...
Different students say different aspects about Canada. So we know more about Canada.
活动四：Write a letter
师：Today,the students Who are from different countries come to China.They want to make friend with you. So they write letters to you . Do you want to know what do they say
师： OK. Let’s read them one by one.
师： OK. There are four letters to you. You can choose one of them to write back.
总结：
师：OK. We make friend with them . Do you like them？ Do you want to make friend with them
师：Maybe we are different nationalities. We are different races. Even we are different in many ways. But we are from the same world. All of us are friends in the world. So we say there are no borders on friendship.
