Step 3 完成教材2a-2d的任务
【操作案例】
1.学生就2a中的问题展开小组讨论,鼓励尽量多的学生说出自己的答案。
2.学生快速浏览课文,找到课文中与2b所给词语同义的词,并读记这些词语。
3.学生读第二遍课文,结合课文内容完成2c的任务,邀请学生说出自己的答案。
4.播放录音,学生跟读课文,然后邀请学生分段进行朗读示范,教师注意纠正学生的读音。
5.学生就2d中的问题进行思考,邀请部分学生谈谈自己的家乡,完成2d的任务。
设计意图:学生在阅读和完成各项任务的过程中运用了所学知识,实现语言和知识目标。

【知识点拨】
1.Nowadays,millions of Chinese leave the countryside to search for work in the cities.现在数百万的中国人离开农村到城市里寻找工作。
search用作不及物动词时,意为“搜索;搜查”。短语search for 意为“搜寻;找寻”。
例句:He is searching for his sunglasses.他正在找他的太阳镜。
【拓展】search用作及物动词,意为“搜查”。
例句:They searched the forest for the lost child.他们在森林里寻找那个走失的小孩。
2.It's a shame,but I just don't have the time…实在是遗憾,但是我就是没有时间……
shame 不可数名词,意为“羞愧;惭愧”,与a连用,表示“可耻的人或事;可惜(遗憾)的事”。It's a shame是一种常见的口语表达,表示一种不如人愿的情形,后面可接不定式或由that引导的从句。
例句:He felt no shame for what he had done.他对自己所做过的事不感到羞愧。
It's a shame (that) you can't stay for dinner. 你不能留下来吃晚饭,真遗憾。
3.Many people like Zhong Wei regard with great interest how their hometowns have changed.许多人像钟伟这样,以极大的兴趣关注着家乡的变化。
regard用作及物动词,意为“将……认为;把……视为”。常用短语regard…as…意为“将……视为……;把……当作……”。
