教学过程
Step1 : Warm up
1.Greetings
T: Good morning, children.
Ss: Good morning, apple.
T: How are you today. Ss: I’m fine, thank you.
T: It’s a fine day, isn’t
Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s do some exercises . Ok
2 师生边唱边表演《walking》
(设计意图:由greetings引出《walking》歌曲,师生边唱边表演歌曲。此活动活跃了课堂气氛,并且由歌词中的walking, running引出下一环节的race)
Step2 Lead in:
Story time
1 Listen to a song and guess: who are they 2 Tell the story : The race between the tortoise and rabbit.
(新授生词时,用“开火车”等各种形式读生词,读对的学生给予奖励贴画。)
(设计意图: 龟兔赛跑的故事是学生比较感兴趣也比较熟悉的,通过故事呈现并学习本节课的生词,扫除生词障碍,为下一步正文的学习奠定基础。)
Step3 Presentation
Task 1
1 Listen to the tape and underline the past tense of verbs
2 Guess: Why did he do this kind of dream
(设计意图: Wu Binbin also had a race but in his dream .What did he dream about 此句承上启下, 由此句引入本课。通过听一遍录音并且划下过去式的单词,让学生初步感知文章的大意。并且通过Guess: Why did he do this kind of dream 可以与情感教育相呼应。)
Task 2 (从本部分开始进行小组竞赛,以贴苹果树的形式分组竞赛,答对的小组获得一个苹果。)
1 Read para1 and choose the right answer.
(设计意图: 选择题Why was Wu Binbin worried 呼应了前面的问题Why did he do this kind of dream 同时加深学生对第一段的理解。本段中另一个问题:What makes you feel worried 拓展了第一段的问题,此问题也是文章前的一个问题之一。)
2 Read para2 and answer the question.
3 Read para3 and answer the question.(设计意图:本段是文章的难点部分,通过图片让学生理解单词cheetah的含义。又通过视频、动画让学生理解问题:What animal can run very fast 此问题是文章前设计的一个问题,学生通过动画了解基本常识。)
Step 4 Group work(贴苹果树的形式分组竞赛,答对的小组获得一个苹果。)
1 Number the pictures and the point sentences.(将图片与重点句型排序,并贴在卡纸上.)
2 Retell the dream(每组选一名代表复述吴一凡的梦。)(设计意图: 小组活动第一步通过简单的贴图片和句子的形式让学生加深对梦境过程的了解。又通过复述梦境锻炼了学生的小组合作能力和语言表达能力。)
Step 5 Playing(贴苹果树的形式分组竞赛,“中奖”小组获得奖品)Playing rules: Each butterfly has one question and three of them have gifts !1 五个小组分别上讲台抽号2 按照本小组抽取的号码选择蝴蝶回答问题,答对奖励一个苹果。五只蝴蝶有三只有“奖”。“中奖”
的小组获得相应奖品。
(设计意图:游戏的目的如下:一、通过设置各种问题来检验学生对本课的掌握程度。
二、通过”中奖”来激发学生敢于回答问题的胆量,学习并且活跃了课堂气氛。)
Step6 情感教育

(设计意图:吴一凡为什么会做这种梦,是由于他可能worried,所以教育大家要不怕压力,保持好心态,加强锻炼。与前面task 1设置的问题相呼应。)

课后反思
本节课中动词过去式的单词较多,并且,过去式的单词还是出现在吴一凡的梦境中,因此解决本课中的生词是一个关键。英语讲究情景教学,为了让学生在轻松中进入本课,我用了“龟兔赛跑”的故事导入本课。通过这个故事扫除生词障碍,又能很好的引入吴一凡梦中的赛跑。讲解文章三段的过程中,设计各种问题使学生加深对文章的理解。学生学得很有劲,也很扎实。然后我以任务的形式,通过一个小组活动让学生复述梦境。小组活动通过贴图片顺序及重点句型的形式进行,注重学生的言语表达能力和小组合作能力的培养。同时本节课也很注重学生情感的升华,最后的情感教育呼应前面提到的吴一凡为什么会做这样的梦。总之,本节课我注重环节相扣,知识、能力、情感有机结合。但是,本节课还有很多不足之处。例如:学生在复述梦境时会遇到课文中的生词,学生在读法上还是不够准确。本课的知识量较大也是原因之一,因此,在授本课前应该加强学生的预习。
