1. Hide under a desk or table.
2. Follow teachers’ advice.
If at home:
Hide under a heavy table or bed.
If an earthquake happened, what should we do
Look and say
If on a road:
1. Use something hard (硬的) to protect your head.
2. Avoid the buildings.
Don’t rush out without order.
Never try to use the lift.
Stay calm!
If we are in a high building:
Work in groups of four. Decide on an emergency situation. Follow the example. (P 59)

Work in a group of four, select an emergency situation and make a dialogue, then role play the conversation in front of the class. Let’s see which group does the best.
Ready
For example:
Setting: Kelly, a teenager, is at home with three
of her friends. They are playing computer
games. Kelly’s parents are at work.
Situation: Suddenly, the computer stops working
and the electricity goes off. A super
typhoon has hit the city.
Characters: Four teenagers — Kelly, Harry,
Hannah and Jo.
Different feelings of characters:
Kelly is worried. Hannah is afraid.
Harry and Jo are brave. The teenagers
are talking about what they should do.
注意:
对话发生的场景必须是某一紧急情况,如:地震、洪水、海啸等自然灾害。
另外,由于每个人对同一紧急情况的反应不尽相同,角色的对白应表现不同的情感,如:害怕、勇敢、担忧、伤心等。
最后,在表演中应通过语气、表情或肢体语言等表现出角色的情感。
