并列复合句
　　并列复合句是指由并列连词and, but, or等把两个或两个以上的简单句连在一起而构成的句子。
1. 并列复合句的构成：简单句 + 并列连词 + 简单句
例如: I believe him and he believes me, too. 我相信他, 他也相信我。
注意：但有时不用连词,只在两个简单句之间用分号隔开。
并列连词前后的简单句如果有相同部分，则后句的相同部分可以省略。
常见并列连词：
1. 表并列关系：
and, not only…but also, neither…nor
例如：She not only plays the piano well, but also writes music.
He neither likes fiction, nor does he like poetry
他既不喜欢小说，也不喜欢诗歌。
2. 表选择关系：or, otherwise, or else否则，要不然,
either...or不是...就是...(二选一)
例如：He either watches TV or reads books in the evening.

3. 表转折关系：but, yet, still , however
4. 说明原因： for

2. 常用的并列连词：
and 连词, 表示并列关系 Jim is a lovely boy and he is always ready to help others.
吉姆是个可爱的男孩, 他总是乐于助人。
but 连词, 转折关系。 注意: although与but不能在同一句子中出现。 I tried my best to win the game but I failed at last.
我尽我最大努力赢比赛, 但是最后失败了。
He is rich but he feels lonely.
=Although/Though he is rich, he feels lonely.

or 连词, 选择关系用连词 You can stay here or you can go home.

so 连词, 因果关系 Lucy works very hard so she always gets good grades.

3. “祈使句+and/or+简单句”结构。前后句意义统一, 用and连接; 前后句意义对立, 用or连接。例如:
Do morning exercises every day, and you will be healthy. 每天做早操, 你就会健康。
Be kind, or you will lose your friends.
