Unit 1 I can hardly believe we’re in the city centre.
1、 教材分析
本单元通过去北海公园游玩的话题,运用that引导的宾语从句来描述自己的想法。此话题贴近学生的生活,而宾语从句在生活中的运用非常广泛,我们的学生之前接触过不少,本次让同学们通过课堂活动来掌握其用法。
2、 学情分析
对于处于青春期的八年级学生来说,渴望认识外面的世界是他们的特征之一,他们对于旅游的兴趣浓厚。因此,亲近生活的话题能够激发学生学习的动力,从而更好地接受新知识。

本单元为听说课型。

Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Free talk and lead-in
1. Ask Ss to tell where they would like to go if they have some time off.
2. Ss look and describe the pictures of Beihai Park, the T leads them to use: I think(that) it is... .
3. The T introduces Beihai Park: Beihai Park or North Sea Park is one of the most popular parks in the city of Beijing. It covers an area of 69 hectares (公顷), and the lake takes up over half of it. It has a history of 1000 years. It used to be the imperial(皇家的) garden for many dynasties(朝代), including Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties of China.

9、 教学反思
本节课教学主要以去北海公园为话题,通过对休假想去哪里游玩的事,引出宾语从句的表达方式。本节课的听力时间充裕,而且采用了许多过渡。通过再现北海的简介引入语法,并通过针对佛山的景点进行宾语从句的口语训练,使课堂内容具有连接性,顺理成章,不产生突兀感。本节课强调以学生为中心的教学方法,很大程度上发挥了学生自主学习和小组合作学习的能力。但是,本节课仍然存在可以加以改进的地方,比如考查学生掌握词汇的输出量不够。
