教材分析
本课为Module9 的第三单元,主要是对重点单词和词组的巩固和运用,以及通过小组互助模式探究和研讨由whether、if以及特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句,再结合第八模块的内容对宾语从句的相关知识进行归纳总结;对于话题方面,本单元是考察学生对朋友之间、同学之间情感的态度倾向,设计了制作板报的活动,利用小组探究活动来讨论对于初中生来说哪些方面是交朋友、培养友谊的着重点,树立正确的朋友观,结交适合自己的朋友。
教学目标
知识目标:
1,掌握重点词汇:separate, explain, mention,introduce, refuse, treat,etc.
2,总结并归纳whether/if及疑问词引导的宾语从句相关语法点,并注意时态问题。
技能目标:
积极参与重点词汇和单词的复习过程,并能够运用宾语从句解决相应重点题型;能够利用小组探究合作做出一份海报,头脑风暴收集大家对友谊的看法。
情感态度目标:
通过小组制作板报的活动,并结合自身经历,能够深刻意识到友情需要珍惜,也需要重视,明白真朋友的真谛,结交适合自己的好朋友。

教学重点:
1,重点短语和单词的掌握,以及相应习题的练习。
2,宾语从句的灵活运用以及会做相应习题。

教学过程
Step1 Lead in
1, Read two study objectives together that should finish in this class.
To summarize and practise the use of the object clause with if, whether, who, what, how, why, where & when.
To learn to make a poster about friendship.
2, For the first part,do some revisions about new words, phrases,and grammar.
Step2 Review the new words
1,Check the new words: one group read the words on the left,the other translate them.
2, Team competition: fill the sentences and spell the words correctly.(Activity5)

(To understand the usage of the new words and spell them correctly.)
Step3 Review the phrases
1,Discuss in group, write down the results on a paper and check the answers.
2,Play a game: ask two pairs to make a dialogue. The more phrases are used, the more scores you will get.
(Not only to apply the key structures to pair dialogues,but also to cultivate students’ creativity and situational practice.)
3,Finish the activity6,and ask one student to write on the blackboard.
(To cultivate students’ competition consciousness.)
Step4 Review the grammar
(object clause with whether/if and interrogative words )
1,Read and translate these sentences and discuss in pairs the use of “whether” and “if”
(To increase students’ summarizing skills.)
2,Watch the examples and then discuss in group the conditions that only use “whether” rather than “if”.
(To explore the grammar by team work and then conclude team results.)
3,Play a guessing game by filling the sentences with interrogative words.
(Try to be the first person to answer, the aim is to arouse students’ enthusiasm of answering the questions.)
Then understand the summary of interrogative words.
4,Read the rules of object clause from tense,order and guide words in an understanding way.
主句若为现在时,从句时态随句意; 主句若为过去时,从句也要用过去。
语序要用陈述序,切莫照般疑问句; that引导陈述句,省与不省没关系。
从句若表“是否”时,if、whether均可以; 特殊疑问作宾语,仍用原来疑问词。

Task1, Look and answer.(Look at three pictures and answer the questions.)

(To be able to change direct speech to indirect speech and pay attention to the tense.)
Task2, True or false.(Each group corrects one sentence and shares the reason.)

2) Do you know if Cindy has arrived or not.
3) Can you tell me that your name is.
4) My teacher said the earth went around the sun.
5) She didn't know what she has eaten for supper.
6) I wonder how can I get there.
(To make sure each group takes an active part in the team competition and has a try. )
Task3, Choose the right answers.(Activity2)
Ask one student to read the dialogue with me and the rest of students point out their answers secretly.
(To check students’ ability to react and self problem-solving.)
Step6 Make a poster about friendship
1,Present three pictures to show the word “poster” meaning.
(To improve their ability of guessing a new word.)
2,Admire a video and then thinking: What do you think is important about friendship
(Brainstorm, to enlighten them to think and know about students’ ideas about friendship.)
3, Make your poster with your group members by sharing your own opinions and taking the best advice from team members. Write about your own experience and draw some pictures.
(To improve their organizing ability and assist them to finish this design.)
4, Present your poster to the rest of the class.
(To improve students’ spoken English and encourage them to present in the front.)
Step7 Homework
1,Write a short passage about your best friend, using object clauses.(Activity 9)
(Advice: Going through related reference materials on Netease Open Class and Everyday English newspaper to look for reading articles about true friendship.)
2,Preview the new words and expressions in Module 10.
教学反思
在安排习题巩固语法的环节中,时间把握不够准确,导致教学过程时间安排不太合理。在以后的教学过程中,要把教学环节弄得紧凑些,既让学生有充分的时间思考,又要合理完成教学任务。
