【拓展】not … any longer=no longer意为“不再；不复”。
【辨析】no longer和no more的区别
★no longer强调时间或动作“不再延续”,与延续性动词连用。如：
He was no longer a thief.=He was not a thief any longer. 他不再是小偷了。
★no more中的more是比较级，more有again之意，强调数量和程度“不再增加”,与非延续性动词连用。如：
He comes here no more.=He doesn't come here anymore. 他不再到这里来了。
