【操作案例】
1.学生阅读1a部分的内容,并根据内容完成匹配任务。
2.讨论答案,先要求两位同学把图片中的内容叙述一下,然后要求学生根据提示内容编写对话,并把学生所编写的对话列举在黑板上。

3.要求学生听第一遍录音,并完成课本上1b的听力任务。

1.miss
miss作动词,在本句中表示“错过”,后面可接名词、代词或动词 ing 形式作宾语。
例句:Be quick,or you will miss the early bus.快点儿,否则你会错过早班车的。
I don't want to miss seeing that film on television tonight.我不想错过今晚在电视上看那部电影的机会。
【拓展】miss作动词还可意为“怀念;思念”。
例句:She will miss him when he leaves.他走后,她会想念他的。
2.pick up 在此意为“接电话”。
例句:Could you please pick up the phone for me?你能帮我接下电话吗?
pick up的其他含义:
(1)pick up 意为“捡起”,up是副词。如果宾语是代词时,要放在pick和up中间。
例句:Pick the pen up,please.请把钢笔捡起来。
(2)pick up 意为“用车接某人”。
例句:Could you pick me up at my house?你可以到我家来接我吗?
(3)pick up 意为“学到;获得”。
