Eg: Jenny bought many books in the shop. 2.Often,the temperature reaches 40 degrees！气温通常会达到40度。 Reach是及物动词，“到达，达到”，在此句中意为达到，后面可直接接宾语。 Eg: I reached Beijing yesterday afternoon. 我昨天下午到达了北京。 拓展： get和arrive也有“到达”的意思，都是不及物动词，它们后面不可直接接地点名词。接地点名词时，get与to连用；arrive与at/in连用，小地点用at，大地点用in。 Eg：Li Ming got to/arrived in /reached Lanzhou last evening. Eg: I arrived at school a hour ago. 3.Seasons in Australia are different from seasons in many other countries.澳大利亚的四季与其他许多国家的不同。 be different from … “与....不同” 其中different是形容词 ，其名词为difference， differences between “....之间的差异”。 Eg: The weather here is different from that in Guangdong. Eg: Her hairstyle is different from mine.
