一、教学目标:

1. 通过学习,学生能够听说认读周末活动的相关单词:visit, sometimes, help, weekend, grandparents, museum;
2. 通过学习,学生能够听说认读周末活动的相关词组:visit my grandparents, go to the museum, help my mum;
3. 通过学习,学生能够听懂、会说、认读与本课话题相关的句型:What do you do at the weekend I often... / Sometimes I...
能力目标:
1.能够询问他人的周末活动:What do you do at the weekend
2.能够表达自己的周末活动:I often ... / Sometimes I ...
情感目标:
帮助学生培养健康、广泛的兴趣爱好,使其热爱生活,享受周末。
二、教学重点:
能听懂、会说、认读并运用句型:What do you do at the weekend I often... /Sometimes I...
三、教学难点:
能够准确运用often, sometimes于所学句型中;能够灵活表述关于周末活动的动作短语。
四、教学过程
Step 1. Warming up
1. Greetings.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Nancy.
【设计意图】课前与学生互相问好,营造和谐的师生关系和融洽的课堂氛围。
2. Sing a song.: Days of the Week.
T: Wow, you sing very well. Well, what’s the song about
Ss: Days.
T: Now I have a question:
What day is today
S1: It’s Thursday.
T: And what subjects do you have today
S2: We have ...
T: Wow, you have so many classes. Children, From Monday to Friday, we go to school and have classes everyday. We call them: weekdays. But on Saturday and Sunday, do you go to school
Ss: No.
T: Do you have classes
Ss: No.
T: Oh, we do many other things. Such as, watch TV...(课件展示动作图片,生说词组)
T: We can do many things we like on Saturday and Sunday. We also call them: weekend.

【设计意图】通过歌曲复习一周七天,自然地引出工作日和周末两个概念。同时复习动词词组,为后面的拓展练习做铺垫;而且还能点明本单元话题,使学生对所学内容有明确的了解。
Step 2 Presentation
1.课件呈现课本情景图1,
T: Children, the weekend is coming. Miss Zhang says to her children: Have a nice weekend.
T: On their way home, Tom and Li Ming are talking. What are they talking about The week days or the weekend Let’s watch and choose.(播放课文动画)
Ss: They’re talking about the weekend.
【设计意图】自然导入课本文本。通过问题整体感知文本。
2.(1)
T: Tom wants to know Li Ming’s weekend. So he asks...(听音出示问句)
S3: What do you do at the weekend 呈现问句,认读,板书
T: And Li Ming answers: I often ... Let’s listen!
S4: I often visit my grandparents.
T: Wow, you’re a good listener.呈现句型;认读单词visit, grandparents;跟读句子,板书
T: At the weekend, Li Ming often visits his grandparents. How about the girl

Ss: I often visit my grandparents.同桌两人进行问答练习,巩固重点句型。
