In the summer holiday following my eighteen birthday, I took driving lessons. I still remember how hard first day was. Before getting into the car, I thought I had learned the instructor's orders, so once I started the car, my mind goes blank. I forgot what he had said to me altogether. The instructor kept repeating the word, “Speed up!” “Slow down!” “Turning left!” I was so much nervous that I could hardly tell which direction was left. When I look at this picture of myself, I realize of how fast time flies. I had grown not only physically, and also mentally in the past few years. In my mind, I could never fancy how ten second of life could change a person's view for his whole existence. A few years ago I experience the worst moment in my life. I was driving home that afternoon. Unfortunately, I didn't make it home as usually because I had a car accident. While I was driving, all of a sudden, but the car in front of me stopped. My car immediately ran into it. Luckily, I wasn't serious hurt. That accident changed way I drive and they taught me a valuable lesson. Recently, with more and more people own private cars, more traffic accidents are reported.
As it is well known, traffic accidents have been a heated topic because the number of traffic accidents are increasing. The main reason is driving before drinking. Therefore, running the red light and drag-racing in cities are the causes. As the result, more and more traffic accidents had happened.

High school is regarded as best time of my life. Beside classes and homework, there's something more that I especial treasure. Recently, as the development of the Internet, there is a kind of language calling the Web Language. The other day our class have a discussion about if we should welcome the Web Language. Forty percent of students think it ridiculous. In their opinions, it can't help people communicating, nor is it useful for learning English.
