教材分析 本课选自剑桥英语 教材四年级下册Unit 2。本单元围绕Friends话题,要求学生学会理解以下句型:He/She is … years old. He/She likes … His/Her favourite … is … He/She can … He/She has got … His/Her birthday is in … 并要求学生能运用这些句型描述、谈论自己的朋友。 本课为本单元的第三课时,所授内容为第5部分。要求学生能读懂短文,并能运用表格整合文章信息。
学情分析 四年级学生的英语学习基础较好,掌握了一定量的词汇和句型,具备一定的听说认读能力,但是他们在面对信息量较大的篇章时有畏难情绪,缺少有效的阅读方法。教师在本课中以表格为载体,通过一系列有层次的活动帮助学生梳理、整合文章信息,并实现语言的综合运用。
教学目标 1、语言技能学生能听懂、读懂五段描述英国小朋友的短文,并能运用He is ... years old. His birthday is in ... He likes ...He can … He has got … His favourite … is … 综合描述自己的朋友。2、语言知识学生能了解词语American football, Julie and the wolves、The Crazy Cats、L.A. Lakers的含义,理解并朗读课文。3、情感态度激发学生的阅读兴趣,培养学生互相帮助、乐于交友。 4、学习策略培养学生良好的阅读习惯,引导学生通过表格处理信息量大的篇章。 5、文化意识引导学生了解英国的图书、球队和乐队,丰富课外知识。
教学重难点 重点:学生能理解并朗读描述英国小朋友的短文,能复述英国小朋友的基本信息。难点: 学生能综合运用He likes … He can … His favourite sport is … His birthday is in …等句型谈论、介绍自己的朋友。

Pre-reading T: Today, we’re going to learn Unit 2 Friends.(贴标题) Please, look at the screen. Are they friends(海绵宝宝和派大星) Are they friends(阿狸和大熊)?Are they friends(麦兜和麦唛)?Are they friends(呆头和旺财)?Ss: Yes!T: Do you have friends Ss: Yes!简短对话,复习旧知。A、T: Who’s your friend S: My friend is …T: How old is he/she S: He/She is …T: When is his/her birthday S: His/Her birthday is in …T: What does he/she like S: He/She likes …T: What’s his/her favourite sport S: His/Her favourite sport is …T: What has he/she got S: He/She has got …T: What can he/she do S: He/She can … B、读问句。前两句带读,后四句分组读。学生提问,形成表格。T: I have known your friends, boys and girls, do you want to know about Elina’s friend Ss: Yes!T: Look! While-reading 1,听录音回答问题,获取人物信息。T: Look, this is our friend in our book. His name is Steve. Open the envelope of Steve, listen to him and answer my questions.How old is Steve When is his birthday What does he like What’s his favourite sport Learn the word American football. 2,学生分组阅读文本,填写表格。T: Steve has four friends. They are Ann, Eve, Jimmy and Max. Read the names together.T: I have 8 envelopes here. There is one passage about one child in each envelope. Whom do you want to know G1: …G2: ...G3: ...G4: ...T: Now open your envelopes and pass the papers to yourpartners. Then finish your table by yourselves.T: Now, let’s check the answers together. First, let’s look at Ann. We need a pair of Ss to ask and answer and talk about Ann.
