单元分析与提示
本单元出现的话题和语言材料,如动物的特征、爱护动物、保护环境等,在七年级下册第三单元中 “Why do you like koalas ” 已涉及到了。
本单元以 “Protecting animals and environment” 为话题,再现了已有语言项目。从了解濒危和珍稀动物的生存状况,谈到如何保护它们。再到环保宣传以及废品的再生、利用始终将抽象的语言知识、语言材料与贴近社会和学生实际生活的热门话题紧密结合,使学生能言之有物。从Section A的Survey endangered animals 到Section B 的Recycling “ 及语篇综合运用,循序渐进,逐步扩展。

D、主动语态、被动语态两种时态要保持一致。
used to的用法
used to后接动词不定式即used to do sth. 表示“过去常常做某事”。用于一般过去时。例如:
He used to get up at 8:30 in the morning.
Used he to get up at 8:30 in the morning.= Did he use to get up at 8:30 in the morning
He didn’t use to get up at 8:30 in the morning.=He usedn’t to get up at 8:30 in the morning.

It’s sometimes reported that strange objects have been seen high up in the sky. These unidentified(未确认的) flying objects — UFOs have made a lot of people interested. A Greedy Man
Mr Smith lived in a town by the sea. He has a few shops in the centre there. He managed(管理)them carefully and got a lot of money. He was very rich but he didn’t think he was the richest in the town. So he tried to get more money. Once Mr Smith was asked to dinner. He heard there was a circus troupe(马戏团)in the town which had nothing strange except a five-legged (五只腿的)cow.
