【设计思想】本节课围绕序数词、月份、日期(When is your birthday )这一题材开展多种教学活动,重点研究日期以及一些日常行为的表达方法。通过对课文中所涉及到的唱歌、询问生日进行学习研究,进一步加深对本单元教学中心的理解运用,增强学生对日常行为活动的描述能力,综合提高学生的听,说,读,写能力。根据以上分析,结合本单元已经教授的有关序数词、月份的知识,创设情景,开展教学活动,激发学生学习兴趣,通过组织小组活动,对本单元和本节课的知识进行训练讲解,在训练等过程中使学生掌握新授内容,巩固知识。【教学目标】A:语言目标:引导学生学会讨论日期。B:技能目标:学会日常交际用语,谈论日期等,会询问或回答生日,年龄。 How to express date exactly。C:情感目标:(1)用各种可以调动学生积极性的活动来提高学生的活跃性,激发他们参与讨论的热情。(2)同时可以对学生进行情感交流教育,从小培养他们关心他人,和谐相处的正确认识。亲人生日的作业,都是为了通过有效的引导,对学生进行尊敬长辈,关心长辈的教育,教育学生心中要有他人,学会关心他人,营造一种快乐的爱的氛围,把课堂和现实生活紧密联系起来,创设一种宽松的语言环境,调动学生学习英语的积极性,将科学性和思想性统一的教学原则贯穿于课堂教学之中, 拓展英语学科的育人价值(3)能交流个人信息,乐于参与小组活动,积极合作。 D:学习策略目标: (1)积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务; (2)主动向老师或同学请教。【教学重点】主题: When is your birthday 词汇:January __December;日期的英文表达以及序数词的巩固。句型:When is your birthday How old are you 【教学难点】掌握When is your birthday 句型。学唱一首表示12个月份的英文歌曲。【教法选择】 1、 以情景教学为主,通过“任务型”的教学途径,简化教学内容,密切联系学生的日常生活实践活动。采取以教师为主导,学生为主体的多种互动方式进行教学。 2、以多媒体教学为主,运用现代化教学手段,适当地结合实物教学,激发学生学习兴趣,提高教学效果。3、小组合作学习。4、 游戏。5、唱歌。【学法指导】采用了自主、合作Discussing、Concluding的学习策略,利用教学图片、卡通片、唱歌、游戏、课件等来开展课堂教学、Pairwork问答式的口语交际活动和小组活动。【教学准备】教师准备:1、歌曲录音、玩具卡通片、课件、录音机、挂历、卡片。2、提前问清楚学生的生日,以及上课那天过生日的同学学生准备:复习所学词汇、句型和语法内容,并进行适当的总结、归类。【教学过程】Step One : Greetings and warm up ( The teacher comes into the classroom with a calendar which is turning to December 5th )1.T: Let’s sing the Good morning song. ( Sing the song together) 2.T: Revise the numbers from 1 to 31 by counting the students in class. Ask the students to count the students together。(通过唱歌的形式调动学生的学习参与积极性,并且让学生重温韵律为后面的生日歌曲奠定基础。复习1到31英文数字为后面的日期的读法做好准备。) Step Two : Presentation 1、Show them the calendar, and ask “ What’s the date today ” and help the students answer “ It’s December 5th.” by looking at the calendar. Tell them the more dates with the calendar.Learn to say another words : January February April June July August September November December (在学的过程中揭示单词的识记规律,让学生按照一定的规律来记单词,Help students to remember them Such as:January February June July September October November December Read them together read one by one A game : Who is the fast T : The first S: January (以游戏的方式巩固所学单词,为下一步的进一步学习打下基础) Learn to sing a song :The months2、Ask a boy “ When is your birthday ” and help him with Chinese . He can speak the date in Chinese .Then let him repeat in English. T: Listen,my birthday is in March . When is your birthday (引导学生用in 回答) When is your birthday When is your mother’s birthday T: My birthday is on 18 th March . When is your birthday (引导学生分清in 和on 的用法) Then practise in pairs .3、Notice the dates and write the questions and the answers on the blackboard . 4、Teach the dates’ words and write them on the blackboard like : January 1st February 2nd March 3rd ….. And let them to repeat the words.(先呈现日期让学生从感官上了解语言,并用日历呈现一年十二个月的英文单词,学生更加直观的接触语言,练习语言,并且运用语言做事情,提高了学生的兴趣,让学生更加积极主动的去探究语言。) Step Three : Task 1 Pairwork 1、T: Today is Lin’s birthday. Let’s sing the song 《 Happy birthday to you 》 2、Make a converstion : A: When is your birthday B: It’s June 12th . 3、Let them work in pairs for 3 minutes and fill in the chart. NameBirthday (学生在歌声中愉快的感悟本单元语言重点,并且增进了同学之间的感情。在学生已经形成系统的语言材料之后,让学生自己练习语言,并做好记录,同时训练了学生的听,说和写。让学生多维的去体验语言。) Step Four : Act 1、Call several pairs to act out their conversations in class ,other students listen carefully and answer the question: When is her/ his birthday 2、Report : Using the results they got and give a report. For example : Wang Fang’s birthday is on ……3、Call some students to report in class and give them claps when they finish their work. Step Five:Listening task 1、Listen to the tape and answer some questions according to the text. 2、Listen again and check the answers in class. Then repeat after the tape. 3、Work in pairs to act the dialogue : A: When is Danny’s birthday B: It’s October 10th. ……4、In class ,call some students to give a report about the three students who they talked about just now. (在完成听力的基础上设计第三人称的问答,不仅更深的练习语言,而且为下一课时的语言做好了铺垫。同时训练了学生的多维语言能力。)Homework: 1、Ask four students for their birthday and then write a report. 2、Ask your parents’ birthday or the other family. Member’s birthday and write a report.【教学反思】:1.学生通过数数来复习1到31 的基数词,这一活动简单易行,让学生在实际操作中运用,体验所学的语言知识,并为学习日期的说法起到了很好的引导作用。体现了在用中学的思想。通过这样的活动,摆脱了机械的读,写,学生非常乐意去学习,有效的培养了学生的学习兴趣。 2.利用日历教学十二个月生词,形象直观,并通过歌曲来练习,学生在欢快的歌声中无形地掌握了十二个月的单词的读音,书写及顺序,学的轻松愉快,而且记忆牢固。3. 学生在初步掌握了 When is your birthday 句型之后,小组练习互相询问生日,不仅在任务中巩固语言并且增进了同学之间的情感,培养了学生团结,合作的品质和合作,探究的精神以及用所学语言解决实际问题的能力。此外,课外作业的布置也有效的巩固了所学语言知识,学生的知识得到了有益的延伸。
