B Let’s learn Role-play
1、教学目标与要求:
知识与技能(knowledge & skills)
1、能够听、说、读、写单词和词组:comic book, word book, postcard, dictionary;
2、能够在情景中熟练运用句型:Where are we going What are you going to buy I’m going to buy...等句型进行对话,描述计划要去地方和要购买的东西;
3、师生通过发现、合作、交流、体验、小组讨论等学习方法,在情境教学的环境中共同达成任务并进行交际。
情感态度与价值观(emotional attitude & values)
1、能够树立在活动前做好合理计划的意识;
2、发现阅读之趣,渴望阅读课外书籍。了解词典的工具功能和明信片的社交与纪念意义。
二、教学重、难点:
重点:
1、能够听、说、读、写单词和词组:comic book, word book, postcard, dictionary;
2、掌握句型:Where are we going What are you going to buy I’m going to buy...的读音与应用。
难点:
1、单词dictionary的读音和记忆;
2、在情景中熟练运用Where are we going What are you going to buy I’m going to buy...等句型并创编对话。
三、课前准备:
PPT课件、单词图片、思维导图内容图贴、“英语角”海报和书架、书籍和明信片若干(故事书、漫画书、单词书、辞典等)以及作业单等。
四、教学过程:
Step1 Warming up
1. Greetings.
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls!It’s so nice to have you here with me today!
Divide Ss into two groups (Group1 VS Group2)
2. Free talk and Lead- in.
3. T: Well, you know, these days are really hot, I’m going to go swimming this weekend. I can feel cool and relaxed when I swim in the water. How about you Who wanna tell us, what are you going to do this weekend Who are you going with ...
4. Play a game.(我比你猜)
Review phrases of part A.
T:I have an idea now, let’s play a game.
e.g. Ss:What are you going to do today/tomorrow/this weekend/next week
T shows a word card to S1. (see a film). Then S1 do some body language to act it out. Ss guess it together.
S2: You are going to see a film.
S1:Bingo! I’m going to see a film.
S1 and S2 get a star for their group.
Step2 Presentation
1.Lead- in
T:Now, can you guess,what am I going to do today
Ss:You’re going to...
T:I’m going to buy some books.Do you know why Because I will make an English corner in our class.(T shows the ‘English corner’ to Ss.)It’s a nice place where we can study English after class. I think we need some books at first.
T: Do you want to go with me Where are we going How can we get to the bookstore How much money do you have What are you going to buy
2.Make a mind map .
T and Ss make a mind map on the blackboard together.(板书、贴词卡、填空)
Why What Where With whom How How much What books(Shopping list)
3.Study new words.
T:Here is the bookstore.I find a storybook named ‘Little Princess’.It’s my favorite storybook!(依次和学生分享教师收藏的立体故事书和英文故事书,并作简要介绍)
(1)comic book
<1>T: Look!There are so many cartoon pictures, what book is it →comic book
<2>Ss read it after T and spell it.(自然拼读法)
<3>T shows some real comic books to Ss. Ss get the meaning.
<4>Ss read it touch the word cards one by one. Ss read it to each other and try to remember it.
<5> Talk about comic books
T:Do you like comic books I like them very much, so I have many comic books,see (T shows PPT: many comic books in T’s study)
Ss; Yes!
T: Which comic book do you like best
S1:海贼王。 S2:柯南名侦探 S3:......(此环节鼓励学生用中文回答即可,并可适时扩展和带到新单词,如侦探:detective)
(2)word book

T:Do you have any word books How many word books do you have
S1:I have two. S2:I have five.
T: I have no word book. I think they are helpful for babies and children.
(3) postcard
<1>T: I find some postcards here! We have learnt ‘postman’ ‘post office’,and we have known ‘birthday card’, so what’s the meaning of ‘postcard’ Ss get the meaning.
<2>T shows some postcards on PPT and enjoy them together.
<3>Read it.(Ss read it in groups and read it one by one.)
<4>Get known more about postcards.
T:I always receive postcard from my friends in different countries and cities.I take some here today.This one is from New York.This one is from London.This one is from Tailand.Guess where is it form It’s from Maldives.
T give the postcards to Ss. Ss pass them and have a look at them.
T: I like the postcards so I put them on my fridge.(show PPT) Do you have any postcards
<5>T help Ss to know how to write our address in English.
(4)Let’s chant.
Review the words above. ‘I say comic, you say book.;I say word, you say book; I say post, you say card!

<5>T: I think dictionaries are very helpful for us.We need English dictionaries and Chinese dictionaries.Do you have dictionaries If you don’t, you can buy one in this bookstore.
Step3 Practise (Group work)
1.Make a mind map and talk about with your partner.
Finish the worksheet (Part1)围绕将要去买书这一主题完成思维导图.
E.g. Why( do we buy books) For the English corner.
With whom My classmates/friends/Miss Yin.
Where(are we going) To a bookstore.
How can we ger there By bus/bike/taxi/on foot...
How much( money do you have) 10/50/100yuan...
What (are you going to buy) shopping list:A comic book/word book/some postcards...
2.Make a dialogue
E.g.
----S1: Where are we going
----S2: To the bookstore.
----S1:What are you going to buy
----S2:I’m going to buy a dictionary.(以同桌为一组,起来展示对话,完成任务为该组得一枚星星)
3.Role-play
T sets a ‘bookstore’ on the platform. There are many kinds of books in it.
T: Let’s buy books now.
E.g.
----S1: Can I help you
----S2: Yes.Do you have...
----S1:Yes! Here they are!
----S2:...
Step4 Sum-up and consolidation
1.Let’s make labels for the bookshelf.(学生完成作业单第二部分练习,在格子内四线格上写下book,word book,dictionary,postcard,storybook.并做简单装饰,教师选取标签贴在书架上)
2.Let’s classify the books.(学生将上一环节“买得”的书按类别放入“英语角”书架中)
Step5 Homework
1.Copy the new words 4 times on your exercise book.
2.Listen to the tape and read after it.
3. Finish the Mind map and talk about it.
4.Find a book for our English corner.
