When do your friends exercise? They usually exercise on weekends.

(一)询问时间及时间的表达方法
对时间的提问一般用when和what time。
1.when是疑问副词,意为“什么时候,何时”,
用于对日期(某年、某月、某日)提问。
eg:When are you going to leave Shanghai
你们打算何时离开上海?
When were you born?你何时出生的?
2.当询问某年某月某日的上午、下午、晚上等某个
具体时刻钟点时,用what time。当泛指“做某事
的时间”时,when和what time一般可互换。

顺读法 “先时后分”,先读整点数,再读分钟数,都用基数词来读。遇到数字 0,发字母 o的音 / /。 6:30为 six thirty 2:58为 two fifty eight 4:05为 four o / /five
逆读法 a.分钟数小于 30时,用“分钟数 +past+整点数”表示;b.分钟数为 30时,用“half past+整点数”表示;c.分钟数超过 30时,用“60减去分钟数 +to+下一个整点数”表示。 d.分钟数是15时,可用 quarter表示。 8:10为 ten past eight 1:30为 half past one 5:56为 four to six 10:15为 a quarter past ten 5:45为 a quarter to six
