【学习目标】

2．通过引导学生学会有暴风雨的话题，提升学生的阅读技能。
3．引导学生学会在暴风雨等灾害发生时，邻里之间互帮互助。
【学习重点】
用所学的功能语言，与学生交流描述暴风雨发生时人们正在做的事情。
【学习难点】
学习掌握while 和when 引导的时间状语从句，谈论过去正在进行的事，提高学生阅读复述的能力。

【组内小展示】
先由各小组组长带领组内成员认读单词和词组，再在整个小组内进行齐读后对词汇的用法进行归纳，并标记出发音和理解困难的单词，可及时向老师求助。采用小组内展示的方式，老师巡查学情并检测，要求学生自己出题检测。最后，板书展示内容。

(2)过去进行时的几种句式：
肯定句：主语＋ was/were＋doing ＋其他。
如：They were having a meeting at that time.那个时候，他们正在开会。
否定句：主语＋ wasn't__/weren't__doing ＋其他。
如：They weren't have a meeting at that time.那个时候，他们没在开会。
一般疑问句： Was/Were ＋主语＋ doing ＋其他？
肯定回答：Yes，主语＋ was/were．否定回答：No，主语＋wasn't/weren't .
如：Yes，they were./No，they weren't.是的，他们在。/不，他们没开会。

Everyone in the neighborhood was busy．Ben's dad was__putting pieces of wood over the windows while his mom was__making__sure the flashlights and radio were working．She also put some candles and matches on the table.
Ben was__helping his mom make dinner when the rain began to beat heavily against the windows.After dinner，they tried to play__a__card__game，but it was hard to have__fun with a serious storm happening outside.
