1. How do you get along with others in school or at home 在学校或者在家里, 你跟别人相处得怎样
get along with sb. = get on with sb.“(与某人)和睦相处”
eg:Do you always get along well with your friends 你总是跟朋友们相处得很好吗
If we can't communicate well, we can hardly get along with our friends. 如果不能很好地交流, 我们就几乎不能跟朋友相处。

2. Friendship requires good communication.友谊需要良好的沟通。
require “ 需要; 要求”
其后可接宾语、复合宾语或宾语从句
require sth. “ 需要某物”
eg: I require help. 我需要帮助。(接宾语)
require doing “ 需要(被)……” 主动形式表示被动意义, 相当于require to be done。
eg: The flowers requires watering(to be watered). 花需要浇水。
require that... “ 需要……”
eg:His mother requires that he (should) go to bed early.他的母亲要求他早点睡觉。(接宾语从句)
require sb. to do sth. “ 需要某人做某事”
eg: The job requires you to be strong.
那工作要求你身体强壮。(接复合宾语)
communicate n. “交流, 沟通”
communicate with... “与......交流; 沟通”
eg:The little boy can communicate with the dog by gesture. 那个小男孩能用手势跟这只狗交流。
communication n. “交流, 沟通”
have communication with... = be in communication with... “与......交流; 沟通”
eg: I am in communication with my old friends by WeChat. 我和我的老朋友们通过微信联系。

3. It's the same with family relationships.
家庭成员间的关系也是这样。
It is/was the same with. . . (=So it is/was with. . . )是表达“也”的一个句型, 无论前提是肯定或否定意思都可使用。
eg:-I talk much about communication every day.
我每天谈论很多关于沟通的事。
-It is the same with me. /So it is with me. /Me,too. /So do I.
我也是。
-I didn't talk much about communication yesterday.
昨天我没过多地谈论沟通问题。
-It was the same with me. /So it was with me. /I didn't, either. /Neither did I. 我也是。
4. I guess that people who know how to communicate well with others are happier and more satisfied with their lives. 。
be satisfied with “对......满意”,
eg:He is satisfied with the boy’s work. 他对那个男孩的工作很满意。
[拓展] “satisfied”的动词形式
satisfy “使(某人)满意;使确信; 令人满足”
eg:You can’t satisfy everybody. 你不能让所有人都满意。
5. They are more likely to succeed in their jobs.他们更有可能在工作上取得成功。
likely adj. “可能的, 有倾向的”, 主语既可以是人,也可以是物。
be likely to do sth. “可能做某事”
eg:He isn't likely to come now. It's too late. 他很可能不会来了, 太晚了。
Rain is likely in all parts of the region today. 今天该地区各处都可能下雨。
6. It's always better to get things out in the open-talk about a problem, come to a solution or move on.
把事情摆到桌面上, 讨论问题, 得到解决问题的办法, 或者干点别的, 这样总会更好一些。
get...out “使······出来”
eg: Please get the horse out. 请把那匹马放出来。
in the open “公开地”
eg: The spy doesn't dare to act in the open. 间谍不敢公开行动。
eg: Don't sleep in the open. 别在户外睡觉。
move on “开始做(别的事);更换话题”
eg: They finally came to a solution. 最终他们得出了解决方案。
in the open “在露天(户外、野外)”
come to a solution “得出解决方案; 得出解答”
eg: We have talked much about this. Let's move on.对此我们谈得很多了, 更换话题吧。
7. Hopefully, we'll all learn to get along better with each other! 希望我们互相都学会更好地相处!
hopefully adv. 在句中作评注性状语, 能这样用的通常是“ly”结尾的副词。
eg:Personally, I think he is a good student. 就我个人而言, 我认为他是个好学生。
Honestly, I think you are wrong. 老实说, 我认为你错了。
Fortunately,he was not injured in the accident. 幸运的是, 事故中他没受伤。
Work in groups. Share your ideas about communication. You can use “I think...”, “I guess...”, “That's for sure!”, “That's true!”or “Good point!”.
