translate为及物动词,意为“翻译”,其常用短语为translate… into…,意为“把……翻译成……”,其名词形式为translator/translation, translator意为“翻译者”,translation意为“翻译;译作”。

at the end (of)意为“在……结束时;在……的尽头”,可用于指时间或处所,强调一段时间的结束点、某段路程的终止处或物体的末端,后可接of短语,也可单独使用。
eg: Turn right at the end of the road.

【辨析】
in the end意为“最终;最后”。只能单独使用,与at last或finally同义。
by the end of…意为“截止到……”。后可接表示过去的时间,与过去完成时连用;也可接表示将来的时间,与一般将来时连用。
