Unit 1 It’s time to watch a cartoon.
教学内容：
本课教学内容源于外研版《新标准英语》初中二年级下册M5，卡通故事是少年儿童喜欢的话题，每个学生都有自己喜欢的卡通人物和卡通故事。本课时作为本模块的第一课时，以听说活动为主，课文通过大明和托尼的对话，两人谈论做完作业后该看什么卡通片。从对话中可以看出两人有着不同的喜好，来描述自己喜爱的卡通片人物和介绍自己喜爱卡通片的人物和原因。
学生情况：
本节课授课的对象是初二平行班学生，大部分学生对英语学习有一定的热情，但不善于表达。部分学生乐于思考和表达，还有一小部分学生基础相对比较差，学习兴趣不浓，需要格外关注。本班学生尤其喜欢游戏、小组展示等活动。教师在设计教学过程中要关注分层教学设计，并要加入大量的活动来调节学生的参与度。
教学目标：
通过本课的学习，学生能够：
1 通过听对话，能获取关于喜爱的卡通故事、卡通人物及原因等相关信息。
2 通过思考对话内容，进一步分析和归纳喜爱的原因，谈论卡通片和卡通人物。
3 适当运用本课所学语言，与同伴合作，介绍出自己喜爱卡通片的人物和原因。
教学重难点：
1 在听对话的过程中，获取关于喜爱卡通人物原因的相关信息，能通过相关词汇和图片描述自己和他人的对卡通片的观点。
2 引导学生尊重他人的态度，倾听他人的不同意见，能够就卡通故事或卡通人物进行交流。
3. 在介绍卡通时，运用正确的目标语言谈论所喜爱的卡通片。
突破途径：
1. 通过Brainstorm的形式，引导学生结合自己的实际，让学生谈论自己喜爱的卡通，然后按照文本的逻辑顺序，通过复听、在听中学习影响学生理解的重点词汇等方法帮助不同层次的学生有效的记录关键信息。
2. 通过设问引导学生思考，总结出文本中大明和托尼喜爱的卡通人物和原因；通过创设真实的语境，引导学生关注有关卡通故事和人物的信息；通过最后环节的对卡通片的讨论，就卡通故事及人物展开交流。
3. 引导学生关注、讨论并发现文本中的合理性和逻辑性。并在小组展示之前设计活动，启发学生结合自己的实际情况，描述自己所喜爱的卡通片，发展学生的思维品质。
