一、教学内容
外研版八年级下册 Module 6 Hobbies Unit 2 Hobbies can make you grow as a person.
(Writing)
二、教学目标
(一)知识目标
(1)掌握兴趣爱好的动名词:reading, writing, singing, dancing, painting, playing basketball/ football/volleyball, collecting stamps / fans / coins and notes / tickets, growing vegetables,
looking after animals, climbing
(2)掌握描述兴趣爱好的形容词:active, healthy, interesting, relaxing, useful
(3)掌握描述兴趣爱好的常用短语:be interested in, such as, like / enjoy doing, as well as,
not only...but also..., as a result, at that time, spend...doing sth.
(4)掌握描述兴趣爱好的常用句型:My hobby is…... ; I enjoy…...because it makes me...... ;
Hobbies can bring you pleasure and success.
(二)能力目标
(1)能够谈论话题“兴趣爱好”,通过小组合作学习,总结出这话题能够使用的重点单词、短语、句型,提高学生自主、合作、探究的能力;
(2)能够正确使用单词、短语、简单句来完成个人的兴趣爱好的写作;
(3)能够掌握写作的技巧:“三段式”写作结构和“六步法”写作步骤;
(4)能够懂得如何评价和欣赏别人的文章。
(三)情感目标
(1)不同人有不同爱好,学会尊重对方的兴趣爱好;
(2)养成健康的兴趣爱好,因为它能助我们成长,带给我们快乐和成功。
(3)通过小组合作探究的课堂形式,提高学生学习写作的兴趣和参与度。
三、教学重难点
(1)运用“三段式”写作结构和“六步法”写作步骤,完成“兴趣爱好”话题的写作;
(2)语言的组织和表达。

五、教学过程(Teaching procedures)
Stage 1: Brainstorming(头脑风暴)

Lead-in(引入) ◆ Preview checking.◆ Guessing game “What hobbies do you know ”Show some pictures of different kinds of hobbies, and ask Ss to say out quickly. Say out the hobbiesquickly.
设计意图:通过快速展示图片,采用头脑风暴、抢答的形式,激发学生的话题学习兴趣。
Stage 2: Before-writing

Task Free-talk(自由谈论) Ask Ss to talk about their answers to the questions.What’s your hobby Why do you enjoy your hobby When did you start doing it How often do you… Has your hobby brought you pleasure and success Work in groups to talk about their answers to the questionnaire.
设计意图:教师可提出诸如what、why、when、 how等形式的问题,促进学生思考,帮助其打开头脑中的材料库。师生互动、生生互动,通过小组内对话的形式,扩大学生的参与度,引导学生谈论自己的爱好,并说明理由,提高学生的语言表达能力,又为下一步地写作做好铺垫。
设计意图:通过小组合作探究的形式,发散学生思维,激活本话题表达的词块,为后面的写作做准备。
Stage 3: Present the writing task

Presentation(呈现) ◆ Present the writing task:根据下列提示,以“My hobby”为题,写一篇短文。提示:1.What’s your hobby 2.When did you become interested in your hobby 3.Why do you enjoy your hobby 4.How much time do you spend on your hobby 5.What have you learn from your hobby 要求:1.根据所提供的内容,适当拓展想象空间,灵活地将提供的信息体现在文章中。2.要求条理清楚,语句通顺,书写规范,不少于80词。 Read the writing task together.
设计意图:通过前面环节由浅入深地输入“词、句、篇”, 立即呈现本节课的写作任务,让学生学以致用、大显身手。
Stage 4: While-writing (Drafting)
1. Instruct Ss to write with the stuctures: beginning、body、ending, just like the passage in M6U2.2. Lead Ss to write with “six steps”.

设计意图:开始写作前教会学生审题,让学生了解此篇文章写关于什么、什么体裁、用什么人称、用什么时态。

Step 2List(列) ◆ Ask Ss to list the structure(结构)、main points(要点)、some phases、main sentences. Work in groups.List the structure(结构)、main points(要点)、some phases、mainsentences on their worksheets.
设计意图:小组合作,分解写作步骤,让写作变得更加简单,让学生一步接一步地列好篇章提纲、要点、短语、句子,为写做好准备。

Step 3Write(写) ◆ Ask one student to write the articleon the blackboard, and the others start to write on their worksheets. Write the article on their worksheets.
设计意图:学生的学习过程既要有大脑被激活时的兴奋、活跃的状态,也要有静下来思考的时间,让学生在课堂上限时写作,既能保证写作时间,又能提高写作效率。在写作课上,学生是可以想向同学或老师寻求帮助的。

设计意图:初稿完成后,指导学生巧用连接词,使文章更加连贯,符合逻辑,表达更加地道。

设计意图:教师指导学生善用高级词汇以及活用多种句型来美化文章。

设计意图:为尽量避免错误,教师指导学生通过以下四个方面来进行自改初稿:篇章方面: 切题,结构完整,要点齐全,布局合理,条理清晰; 句子方面: 主谓一致,句子完整,人称,动词时态;用词方面: 名词单复数,代词主格,宾格,动词搭配,副词位置,关联词的恰当使用;细节方面: 单词拼写,语法错误,标点符号,大小写。
Stage 5: Evaluation(评价)

Peer-editing(同伴评审) ◆ Present a rating form(评价表)◆ Ask one student to makecommentson the writing on the blackboard.Ask Ss to exchange their writngs and make comments. Exchange their writng and makecomments on other’s writing.
设计意图:请一位学生对黑板上写好的作文进行修改和点评,这样起到范例作用。学生相互评价,他们会产生一种“小先生”的荣誉感和责任感,从而调动他们的写作积极性,更重要的是互评过程中学生可以多看、多改,在一定程度上提高自身的语言积累水平。
mutual appreciation(相互赏析) ◆ Ask Ss to find out good words、phrases and good sentences. Find out the good words、phrases and good sentences.
设计意图:让学生相互找出作文中的精彩部分(即好词、好句,新颖的手法),学会相互欣赏,相互鼓励,这样更容易提高学生写作的积极性,激励他们写作的乐趣,提高他们写作的信心。

设计意图:总结可以使学生知道他们学到了什么,使他们可以在以后的学习中自我检查。 课堂活动以小组合作的形式开展,在课堂的尾声总结各小组的总得分, 并对优胜组进行奖励,激发学生的学习热情。
