一、概念
现在进行时表示现在或现阶段正在进行的动作或存在的状态。
二、基本构成
be(am/is/are)＋v. ing
I am reading a book now. 我现在正在读一本书。
[探究 现在进行时]
1. 否定式：be(am/is/are)＋not＋v. ing
She is not watching TV. 她没在看电视。
2．疑问式：Be(Am/Is/Are)＋主语＋v. ing
肯定回答：Yes, 主语＋be(am/is/are)．
否定回答：No, 主语＋am not/isn't/aren't.
—Are you playing soccer now 你现在正在踢足球吗？
—Yes, I am. 是的，我在踢足球。
三、动词现在分词的构成
1．直接在词尾加 ing。如：
go→going; do→doing;
cook→cooking; look→looking
2．以不发音的字母e结尾的单词，去掉e，再加 ing。如：
write→writing; drive→driving;
skate→skating; have→having;
ride→riding; dance→dancing
3．以重读闭音节结尾，且末尾只有一个辅音字母的单词，先双写末尾的辅音字母，再加 ing。如：
swim→swimming; run→running;
get→getting; put→putting;
sit→sitting; set→setting
4．以 ie结尾的词，变ie为y，再加 ing。如：
die→dying; lie→lying; tie→tying
