【组内小展示】
先由各小组组长带领组内成员认读单词和词组，再在整个小组内进行齐读后对词汇的用法进行归纳，并标记出发音和理解困难的单词，可及时向老师求助。最后，板书展示内容。

Task 1　Let's read the new words and the phrases.

hometown，How long have you had/owned it It is one of the oldest buildings in this small town.Jim has been in Japan for three years./Linda has been ill since Monday.

(1)根据汉语意思完成下列句子，每空一词。
①——那边的那辆自行车你买了多长时间了？——我买了三年了。
— How long have you had that bike over there
— I've had it for__three__years．
②——他的儿子拥有这套轨道火车多长时间了？
——自他四岁生日起，他就拥有了它。
— How long has his son owned the train and railway set
—He's owned it since his fourth birthday．
【辨析】since 和 for
since 后接一个“过去时间点”的短语或从句(过去时)，也可以接“一段时间＋ago”，常用于完成时态。如：
I have been here since 1990.1990年起，我就一直在这儿。
I have been here since five years ago.自从5年前，我已经在这儿了。
It's two years since I became an English teacher.我成为英语老师已经两年了。
for后可接时间段，用来说明动作或状态持续的时间，因此句中的谓语动词也应该是延续性动词。“for＋时间段”也通常为完成时态的标志。如：
I have learnt English for about three years.我学英语有三年了。
含有for，since的现在完成时的用法歌诀：
过去的动作或状态，一直持续到现在，for、since把时间带。
