Part A Let’s learn \Let’s do
一、教学目标
1、能够听、说、认、读本课时的主要单词：fat, thin, tall, short。
2、能够理解、听懂Let’s do的内容。
3、能够简单的描述动物的特征，例如：Look at that monkey. It’s so fat.
4、能够听懂指示语，按照指令做出相应的动作，例如Be fat ,Be fat, Be fat fat fat.
5、培养学生爱护身边的小动物。
6、通过学习，了解在动物园里不要喂食动物，是爱护动物的表现。
二、教学重点
能够听、说、认、读thin, fat, tall, short以及句子look at the…It’s…。
三、教学难点
能够听懂Let’s do的指令并做出相应的动作。
四、教学准备
教师准备本课时的课件及相关的单词卡片。
五、教学设计
1. 热身、复习 (Warm-up/Revision)　
①Greeting
②Let’s have a chant (pep三年级英语下册第二单元）
The man is the father ---tall, tall, tall.
The woman is the mother ---not so tall.
That’s the son ---small , small ,small.
They are a family , one and all!
师生边唱边做动作，教师给予学生表扬。
③Free talk
T: boys and girls do you like animals I like rabbits and what’s your favourite animal
请学生各自说说自己喜欢的小动物，并能模仿这些小动物。
（板书课题：At the zoo）
2、 呈现新课 (Presentation)
①T：Do you like cats Look at this cat .What does this cat look like
(课件出示卡通加菲猫的图片)
Ss: It’s so fat.
教师教授本课句型look at the… It’s…及单词fat，注意fat的发音拼读。并出示单词中含有at的单词让学生练习拼读。
如：at ，fat , cat , that , hat , mat
用同样的方法教授单词thin, tall和short 。
②播放Let’s learn 视频，学生跟读。
3、 趣味操练 (Practice)
①Play a game(拍单词游戏)
将全班分成四个小组，每组请一位同学上来比赛，教师读单词,看谁拍的又快又准。赢的那一组可以获得一颗星。
②教学Let’s do
学生先听录音读，再看着视频跟教师做动作。
③ Play a game
a、听音做动作，如：教师说单词thin，学生听后快速做出动作并说：Be thin ,Be thin ，Be thin thin thin .
b、听音做相反动作，如：教师说单词thin，学生听后快速做出相反动作并说：Be fat ,Be fat, Be fat fat fat.
c、耳语。
把学生分为5—6组，教师向每组的第一名学生耳语一个指令，如：Be thin ,Be thin ，Be thin thin thin .这名学生依次向组里的第二名学生耳语这个指令。以此类推，直至最后一个学生。最后这名学生快步跑道讲台根据指令做动作，谁又快又正确就为他们组赢一颗星。然后，每组的第一名学生站到队尾。
4、 课堂评价 (Assessment)
做课件上的练习题。
