Unit 6 My Week Review&Rewards教学设计
1. 教学内容分析
本课为人教版英语二年级下册Unit 6 My Week Review&Rewards。本单元重点学习有关星期的七个词汇,以及询问和回答今天是星期几的功能句:What day is it today / What day is it It’s … .本课的教学内容是一周七天的单词。
2. 学情分析
本册教材面对的是小学二年级的学生,他们活泼好动,表现欲望强。但由于年龄特点,他们的注意力很难长时间集中。所以要设计多种多样的教学活动,保持学生的学习兴趣。并要多鼓励学生,赞赏学生的表现成果,帮助他们树立信心。
3. 教学目标
1. 能够听懂,会说,认读有关星期的七个词汇: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday和Sunday,以及他们的缩写形式。
2. 能在恰当的情景中运用七个词汇,并用句型It’s… .说出来。
3. 教育学生热爱一周的每一天,天天开心。
4. 教学重难点
教学重点:能够听懂,会说,认读并会运用有关星期的七个词汇。
教学难点:能够掌握Wednesday,并能区分Tuesday和Thursday,Saturday和Sunday。
五.教学过程
I. Warming up
1. Greeting.
2. Review eight curriculum words.
(1)Look and say.
设计意图:通过图片,实物,PPT和师生表演,激发学生兴趣。
(2)Look and read.
设计意图:学生看图认读课程单词,为后面观察运用英语课程表做铺垫。
II. Lead-in and presentation:
1. Watch and listen to a song about days of a week.
设计意图:利用歌曲有趣的动画和欢快的节奏,让学生视听结合,直接切入主题。
2. T asks, How many days are there in a week What are they Look and listen.
设计意图:通过提问和指令,培养学生观察和倾听的习惯。
3. Listen again, look at T’s fingers.
设计意图:加强语音的输入和词义的理解。
III. Practice:
1. Listen, repeat and show your fingers.
设计意图:让学生模仿七个单词的发音并掌握其含义。
2. Follow T to read the words on the blackboard, using phonics; practice group by group, two by two, one by one and together.
设计意图:让学生学会用自然拼读法认读单词;用不同的方法操练七个单词,着重操练Tuesday,Wednesday,Saturday,尤其是Thursday的发音。
3. T reads the words on the blackboard once, Ss read twice.
4. T points to the words in random order, Ss read once.
5. T says one day, Ss say the next day.
6. Tell Tuesday and Thursday, tell Saturday and Sunday.
设计意图:用不同的方法让学生熟练认读七个单词,并注重音﹑形﹑义的结合和易混词的区分。
7. Play a game:7 children come to the front, take a card one by one;T asks, ‘What day is it ’ Ss answer, ‘It’s… .’;Then have 7 children put 7 cards back on Bl. in order, Ss clap and say : Sunday , Sunday, it’s Sunday… .
设计意图:运用游戏和歌谣将7个单词排序,增强趣味性,既让学生放松,又能加强新单词音形义的训练。
8. 7 children come to the front, put the small cards of 7 words’ abbreviation in the right place.
设计意图:让学生了解认读七个单词的缩写形式。
9. Game: What’s missing Have s/Ss look and answer:It’s … .
设计意图:运用游戏What’s missing 锻炼学生的观察力﹑记忆力,并巩固练习七个单词。
IV. Production
1. Watch a story about Mike’s week; Answer the questions.
设计意图:设置故事情景,拓展语言素材,练习并运用有关星期的词汇。
2. Talk about the calendar and photos. T describes the pictures and asks, ‘What day is it ’ ,S/ Ss answer, ‘It’s… .’.
设计意图:结合生活情景,将有关星期的词汇运用于句型It’s… .
3. Look at a school timetable, I tell my favorite class and my favorite day; Then watch a video of two Ss; Then draw after your favorite class and favorite day; Finally, talk with your partner: I like … . I like … . How about you
设计意图:让学生会认读﹑运用英语课程表,并能和同伴谈论自己喜欢的课程和星期几。培养孩子们的观察﹑运用﹑合作和表达能力。
V. Ending
1. Homework. Ask your parents and friend: What’s your favorite day
Draw in the blank.
设计意图:学以致用,增强与父母﹑朋友之间的交流。
2. Emotional education:Please love 7 days in a week. Be happy every day.
设计意图:德育教育。
