1.You have a helmet. A helmet protects your head, which can get hurt in a bicycle accident.
2.The brakes work OK. No brakes, no cycling.
3.The light is still working. Being able to see is really important at night.
4. The tyres are neither too full nor too flat. This will ensure that you have a pleasant trip.

so...that...“如此·····以至于·····”
so为副词, 后加形容词或副词, that为连词, 后加结果状语从句。so...that...=such...that... , 但such后面接名词。
eg:Brian and I were so angry that we didn't speak to each other. 我和布莱恩都很生气,彼此不再说话。
Yao Ming is such a famous basketball player that all the basketball fans in China know him. 姚明是如此出名的篮球运动员, 以至于所有的中国篮球迷都知道他。
lie down意思是“躺下”。
eg:He had to lie down for a while to rest his legs. 他得躺下一会儿让腿休息一下。
[注意]若名词前有many, much, few, little 等词修饰时, 只能用so, 不能用such。但little 意为“小”时, 用such 修饰。

take off 在本句中的意思是“脱掉”;另外还有“起飞”的意思。

eg:The stork stuck her long beak into her jar and ate happily.

stick to“坚持”, 后面加名词、代词或动名词作宾语。
eg:We must stick to working till we finish our task.
我们必须坚持工作,直到我们完成我们的任务。
