2、 教学目标:
1、能够正确使用下列单词和词组: culture, last, depend, provide, test, progress, form, guest,friendship, stay, prefer, certain, fill,at the same time, depend on, stay in touch with, fill out.
2、能够读懂介绍洛杉矶英语学习活动的短文,捕捉主旨大意,获取相关细节信息,理解段落与标题关系。
3、能够运用and,but 或or,表达个人观点。
4、通过了解去国外学习英语的情况反思自己的学英语方式,培养学生学习英语的热情和勇于克服困难的意志。
3、 教学重难点:
1、能够运用mind map帮助学生读懂介绍洛杉矶英语学习活动的短文。

4、 教学准备:
通过教师引导学生围绕英语课程提出有效问题并将学生提出的问题归纳为本课教学的核心问题并把这些问题为本课的切入点,课堂整体运用思维导图和任务型教学模式以及阅读课“四个阶段”教学模式。本课指导学生通过阅读获取信息,培养学生阅读技能。在教学过程中,采用多媒体手段辅助教学和导学单贯穿整个教学过程。因此,本节课需准备:PPT课件、录音机、导学单。

Look at the pictures and answer the questions. Ask questions about English courses they want to know. 通过让学生看图谈论图片及自由交谈快速进入本课的话题,训练了学生的反应,并在无形中培养学生大胆说英语的习惯。训练学生能够针对话题提出问题并且期盼在老师的引导下解决问题。激发他们的求知欲。
Step TwoPre-reading(5’) 1.Show students the pictures and lead them to describe them and present new words in sentences and teach them as well.2.Have students guess: Look at the title and pictures.What things will you do if you take the course 1.Watch and try to describe the pictures and learn some new words .2.Guess what things they will do if they take the course. 引导学生谈论图片,训练学生描述图片的能力。在描述的同时学习新单词和句型,尽量做到词不离句,为学生扫清阅读障碍。 通过猜测,质疑,发问激发学生产生阅读的愿望和心理。
