【教材分析】
Module 10 Unit1的主要内容以广播为话题,具体通过对话形式让学生对电台节目内容和电台内部工作流程有个粗略了解。要求同学们通过学习本模块, 能够对播音节目和电台工作流程有个大概感知,同时明白从小要坚持努力学习,练好英语口语才能实现做主持人的梦想,实现人生价值。本课的语法重点是了解宾语从句的时态。通过课堂活动的操练,使学生在学习语言知识的同时, 感悟语言功能, 并了解广播相关文化知识。教学中教师利用图片和电台录音吸引学生,灵活利用任务型教学法组织教学过程和内容,并利用过程性评价方式充分调动学生的积极性。
【学情分析】
八年级学生对社会新事物以及和他们生活息息相关的事物总是充满好奇,因此,利用好这节课的相关主题内容能引起学生的兴趣,对于乡镇区域的学生来说,广播电台的工作流程是新鲜又陌生的,所以他们应该会很想了解这个内容。八年级学生正处于青春期,对口语表述的内容,不到很有自信的程度,他们不会随意表述,因此,要准确把握好学生已知内容和未知内容,并采用适当的任务型鼓励机制促使学生多开口。

【教学过程】:
Step 1 Leading in
1 Greeting and evaluation organization.
2 Listen to some background music and tell what’s that (learn the word: radio)
3 Free talk: What can we hear from the radio (We can hear some music/ news…)
Step 2 Infiltration
1 (Most people like listening to the radio to learn about news, well, let’s listen and check the types of news you hear.
2 A reaction game: Listen to some background sounds and say the words as quickly as you can: “news, sports, weather, advertisement, culture and government”
3 (What’s the specific information of the news )Listen again and complete the sentences.
4 Summary some listening skills: key words--- specific information.
Step3 Perception
1 Listen to Part 3 and write down the key words:
news director, the red light, making any noise, presenter, speak English really well, sports news, do interviews with, football match…
2 Read the dialogue and complete the notes. (P.81) Ask Ss to tell their skills.
3 Read after the tape and get some language points:
(1) I’m the news director at Radio Beijing.
director “导演,主管,经理”。是名词。动词为direct。
e.g. Xiaodan is the news director at Radio Huizhou. 小丹是惠州电台的新闻主管。
(2) When it’s on, it means we’re on air.
on air, “(广播或电视)播出,正在广播”。
e.g. We will be on air in about five minutes. 我们将在大约五分钟后开始广播。
(3) Thank you for showing us around.
show “引领,带领”。
show sb. around, “带某人参观,给某人做向导”。
e.g. Shall I show you around the factory 我带你去参观工厂, 好吗
(4) And we should avoid making any noise in the background!
avoid“避免,防止”
avoid + doing sth. “避免做某事”
e.g. Please try to avoid making the same mistake next time.
下次请尽量避免犯同样的错误。
(5) So keep studying, and I hope that you can join us one day.
keep doing sth. 表示“坚持做某事”。
e.g. Keep climbing until you get to the top of the mountain. 坚持爬到山顶

interview 采访,访谈”。是可数名词。
do an interview with sb. “采访某人”
give an interview to… “接受……的采访”
e.g. I want to do interviews with the headmaster at school next month. 我想下个月在学校采访校长。
