1. so .… that …
so .… that …
She was so angry that she couldn't speak.
2. such … that …
It's such an interesting film that I've seen it twice.
(二)too …to …
1. too …to …
The little child is too young to dress himself. Let's help him.
This drawer is too tight for me to open.
(1)与not+adj./adv.+enough to do结构的转换。
He is too young to go to school.
→He is not old enough to go to school.
(2)与so … that …/ such … that …
The box is too heavy for me to carry.
→The box is so heavy that I can't carry it.
→It is such a heavy box that I can't carry it.
(三)enough to …
1. adj/.adv.+enough to do …
My room isn't large enough to save my collections.
2. adj./adv.+enough for sb. to do…
The book is easy enough for a little child to read.
(1) adj./adv.+enough to do...可与so … that .…
He is strong enough to carry the desk.
→He is so strong that he can carry the desk.
(2)not+adj./adv.+enough to do …可与 too ... to.../so ... that ... no ...
He is not old enough to go to school.
→He is too young to go to school.
→He is so young that he can't go to school.
