1．构成

2. 过去进行时的标志词
过去进行时的标志词有at 8 o'clock last night, at this time yesterday, at that time等。
I was watering flowers in the garden at that time yesterday.

3. 过去进行时的句式变化
肯定句 主语＋was/were＋现在分词＋其他.
否定句 主语＋wasn't/________＋现在分词＋其他.
一般 疑问句 Was/Were＋主语＋现在分词＋其他？
肯定回答 Yes, 主语＋___________.
否定回答 No, 主语＋wasn't/weren't.

1．相同点
when 和 while 都可以作从属连词。引导时间状语从句。
都有“当……的时候”的意思。
2．不同点（1）
引导的时间状语从句 从句中的谓语动词
when
while
指时间段，也可以指时间点
可以是延续性动词，也可以是终止性动词
一般指一段时间
表状态的延续性动词
不同点（2）
when引导的时间状语从句中，从句的动作和主句的动作可以同时发生，也可以一前一后先后发生；
while则强调主句和从句的动作同时发生。
有时when可以代替while，而while则不能代替when。
不同点（3）
when后面通常接一般过去时的从句，而while后接进行时态的句子。
