【知识点拨】
1.As a mountain climber,Aron is used to taking risks.作为一名登山者,艾伦习惯于挑战。
be used to 意为“习惯于”,其中to是介词,其后要接名词或v. ing形式。
例句:He is used to playing basketball after school.他习惯放学后打篮球。
2.His love for mountain climbing is so great that he kept on climbing mountains even after this experience.他对登山是如此热爱,以至于即使在这次经历之后,他仍坚持登山。
so…that…表示“如此/这么……以至于……”,常引导结果状语从句。其中so是副词,常可用来修饰形容词或副词。
例句:He is so lazy that he can't do his homework.他如此的懒以至于他不会做他的家庭作业。
