【教材分析】
本单元的话题为介绍家乡。从家乡的地理位置、花草树木、空气、购物、饮食、人们的活动等方面介绍自己居住和生活的地方。
【学情分析】
该课为Reading 的第二学时，在第一课时了解了Sunshine Town的基本情况，如环境、购物、饮食、娱乐活动等，给了学生初步介绍一个地方的范文。
【教学重难点】
1. 知识点的讲解
1. 培养学生仿说仿写的能力
【教学准备】
课文录音、视频 课件PPT
【教学目标】
知识目标 ：1. 巩固课文 2. 知识点的讲解
情感目标 ：通过仿说激发学生喜欢和热爱自己家乡的情感
德育目标 ：教育学生热爱自己的家乡、祖国
【教学步骤】
课前音乐：Shining friends (活跃气氛)
Step1 Revision
1.Check Ss’ reading
Teacher: Hello, boys and girls! Yesterday we learned something about Sunshine Town. Can you read it now First, let’s read it after the tape, then I’d like some students to read it.
Ss read with the tape.
Now I’d like to ask some students to read it to see if you have practiced reading it.(主要叫中等或偏下的学生起来朗读，以检测学生的口头作业。)
2. After reading, teacher says “Now I have two questions ,please listen carefully and answer them quickly.”
Question1: Is Sunshine Town in the center of Beijing (一般疑问句，叫中等偏下的学生回答)
Question2:Where is it (叫中等偏上的学生回答，该题答案为：It takes only 40 minutes by underground from the center of Beijing 此句子为本文语言点的重要句型，所以板书该句子在黑板上，先做伏笔。)
1. Ask and answer: Get Ss to ask and answer more questions about the article.
(目的：1.检测学生对课文的熟悉程度；2. 锻炼学生的口头表达能力；3. 锻炼学生组织句子的能力。)
以下为学生自己组织提问的一部分问题：
1. How is the air
2. What’s in the town centre
3. What do local people like doing in the park
4. Are there any shops in the town
5. What can you buy for your family and friends
6. Most of the things in the shops are expensive, aren’t they
7. What kind of food is famous
8. Can you eat Western food in Sunshine Town
9. What can visitors enjoy at the local theatre
10. What can you do if you want to learn more about Chinese art
（1.对于这些问题可根据问题的难易度叫不同层次的学生起来回答，实现分层教学，让不同层次的学生都有所得。
2.通过提问和回答大大加强了全体学生对课文的理解和记忆。）
Step2 Retell
Teacher: Now look at the pictures, can you retell Sunshine Town according to the pictures and key words
Get Ss to retell Sunshine Town according to the pictures with their own words. First, 3 minutes to get it ready. Then get several students to retell.
设计意图：锻炼学生的复述能力和语言组织能力。
Then get Ss to complete the report on PPT
Step 3 Language points
通过呈现课文中的原句，用红色突出语言点，并配以相应的练习帮助学生操练和巩固。
例：
1. There are a lot of things to do in Sunshine Town.
1. be famous for--- 拓展 be famous as ---
1. miss sth. miss doing sth.
1. It takes (sb) + 时间 + 方式 + from … to ….
It takes (sb) + 时间 + to do + from … to …
It is + 时间 + from … to … + 方式
1. look forward to doing sth.
Step4 Practice: 仿说：让学生模仿SunshineTown 说说自己的家乡-- Yangshi
设计意图： 从书本到实践，进一步锻炼学生的口头表达能力和语篇组织能力，在仿说中进一步巩固语言点和句型。
Step5 Homework
1. Try to write an article about your own hometown.
1. Get ready for the dictation.
【教学后记】
1. 本节课中的让学生根据课文内容自己组织问题问答已不是第一次尝试，学生非常喜欢这一环节，大部分学生都能大胆提问和积极回答他人提出的问题，在这一环节也经常能收到意外的惊喜（有些学生提出的问题相当有价值），掀起课堂教学的高潮。学生们非常积极地动脑提出各种各样的问题，有一般疑问句，有特殊疑问句，还有选择疑问句, 问题涉及了文章内容的每一个细节, 进一步帮助学生熟悉课文。
1. 不要低估学生的能力，大胆尝试新的教法和学法，把学生引向更高的语言水平。
1. 教学要随着学生的反应和实情灵活调整教学方法，不拘泥于预设，才会有精彩的生成。
1. 在备课和上课时要注意分层教学，对不同水平层次的孩子在要求上要有不同体现，让更多的孩子体验成功的喜悦，从而增强学习的信心和兴趣。
