1. 知识目标
(1)学生能够正确拼读并准确运用本课单词: list, crazy, shorts, trousers, sunglasses,
passport,make a list, at the end of等单词、词汇。能够认读及拼写weight, weight, homestay, total等词汇。
(2)学生能正确使用下列句型:

(3)通过小组学习,使学生能够识记本课的常用短语和日常交际用语,学生初步了解含有and、but和or的并列复合句,并能进行适当运用。
2. 能力目标
(1)大多数学生通过听说活动,能够听懂和朗读关于出国旅行计划的对话。
(2)大多数学生都能够正确运用重点词汇和句型谈论旅行计划,并能询问他人的计划和活动并能提出提出建议。
(3)部分学生能够把本模块的话题与实际情况联系,并运用所学知识以汇报的形式进行展示。

通过谈论旅行计划养成做事有计划、生活有条理的习惯。
4.教学重难点
能区别并学会运用and, but, or连接的并列复合句。
5.教学过程:
Step1:Warming-up
1. Make a free talk about their holiday plan.
2. Watch a video about Los Angeles and do brainstorming.
Have the students work in groups and discuss “What we should take to Los Angeles”.
设计意图:引出本模块话题,同时引导学生进入新的模块的学习,训练了学生的反应的同时又在无形中培养学生大胆说英语的习惯。活跃了课堂气氛。
Step2:Presentation

2.Pair work:
Have the students work in pairs to talk about their summer holiday and try to give advice for their trips.
A: I am going to ...this summer holiday. Can you help me

3. Show students ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )some pictures and let Students use the new words to talk about “To go to Los Angeles, what things you don’t have ”
Eg: I want to go to LA, but I don’t have a … .

设计意图:引导学生简单地谈论图片,训练学生描述事情的能力。在描述的同时学习新单词和句型,做到词不离句,由浅入深,让学生体会and, but的用法并能恰当使用,并为学生扫清听的障碍。

1. Listen and choose the best answers.

设计意图:把Activity2的Listen a ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )nd check the things改成贴近中考的选择题一定程度上降低了难度。同时,给予学生答题技巧,关注关键词,有助于学生较顺利完成任务,增强他们的自信心。
2. Read and check T (True) or F (false).

设计意图:让学生带着问题(任务)去读课文,让学生课文有进一步的理解,培养了学生通过读获取细节信息能力。

4. Act out the dialogue.
设计意图:通过小组活动提高学生间的自主、合作学习,让学生充分地实践运用语言,并激发学生创造性思维的发展。

1. Students work in pairs, ask and answer questions about their imaginary trips and then make notes.
