一、 Warm-up and Lead-in
1、 play a song on the radio, sing it together.
2、 Build the Word-map
Talk about the radio station with students in order to show the word-map .
T: what does a DJ do ( collects and plays the latest ,highest and coolest music for listeners.)
Where does a DJ work (at a radio station)
Today , we are going to talk about a radio station.
Who works in a radio station ( a presenter, a news director, a radio manager, a news reader, a news reporter……)
A news reporter collects the news and reports the news for news paper, radio or television.
A news director is in charge of the news programme , and decides what to do and what to say.
A presenter introduces the different parts of the programme to the listeners.
A newsreader reads the news for audience.

T: Beijing Radio was born in 1949, and it is one of the most famouse international radio stations in the world. Since the first day of her life, Beijing Radio has been focused on observing and reporting people’s life in the view of news.

We should have a good voice. good English and good voice are both important for a radio presenter.

But nowdays, most of the teenagers are not listening to the radio. You have IPADs, smart phones, computers to play the music or get the infomation. But radio is still one of the most important media in the modern world today .
What direction will the radio take in the future Will the radio be replaced by the other media in the future We are not sure, let’s wait and see.
