比较项 用法 举例
take after 动介词组，表示“(由于血缘关系而在外貌、行为等方面)与……相似”，be similar to 也有此意 Margaret takes after her father in being strong. 玛格丽特意志坚强， 像她父亲。
look like 表示在外貌上“与……相像” He did not look like an evil person. 他看起来不像一个恶人。
be like 多指性格方面相似，也可指外貌，但不强调血缘关系 China is like a giant awakening from a heavy sleep. 中国像一个从沉睡中觉醒的巨人。
