Step 1 Warm-up Greeting. “Hello,boys and girls,how are you today I am your new English teacher you can call me Lawrence.Today,I will divide you into four groups. The best group will get sweet candies. Let’s explore the new world with me.” Listen and watch the video Watch the video and active the “ Now,let’s watch the video and listen to the beautiful song. And please stand up!Move your body.” Summary and review the key word What are they doing Review the key words of the video. “Do you like this songs Do you remember what they are doing They are washing, washing. They are...(teacher show the action of each words.)” Step 2 Pre-reading Lead in the information of the world robot exhibition. “Do you know who are they Yes! They are our friends Sarah and Robin. And they are in the world robot exhibition. Do you know what the exhibition is Look at the picture, and repeat after me.” Step 3 While-reading Task 1 : Fast reading Give students two minutes to read the dialogue quickly and answer the question, “How many robots can they see ”And then show the answers. Task 2 : Listen and find Give students three minutes to read and listen the dialogue again. This time students need to listen and read carefully. And underline the details about the abilities of robots. And check the key words. Task 3 : Intensive reading With the help of tape, repeat the sentence one by one. While reading, teacher need to notice the details and expand the information of the culture and food. Such as sushi which is the Japanese food. It’s delicious. Step 4 :Post-reading Task 4: practice Fill in the blanks in the book Retell the story Use the blackboard-writing to retell the story. Invite a students to retell. “This robot is from Spain. He is a Spanish robot. He is playing music.This robot is from Canada. He is a Canadian robot. He is drawing a picture.” Finish the paper Design your own robot At first,teacher show the robot designed by herself.And then let’s student design their own and invite some students to introduce. Step 5 Extension & Consolidation Watch the video of 2021 the world robot exhibition. 教学反思 本课时是复习模块,综合性较强,课时含量较大,综合锻炼学生的听说读写能力,复习并拓展了一般现在进行时。要求学生运用一般现在进行时来描述某人某物正在做某事,对学生要求较高。 本课时还将现在进行时与机器人相结合,拓展学生知识面。 在上课的过程中,教师需要活跃好课堂氛围,才不让这堂阅读课无聊,让学生失去学习兴趣。 课堂中的情感教育也非常重要,需要向学生普及不同国家之间的文化差异。
