I. pre-task Show a map of the USA, then point out California. Show a point in California, ask the students where it is. Teach the new word: Los Angeles Tell the students that Mrs. Wang and Grandma are going to Los Angeles, the USA. Ask the students what they should take with them. Do a brainstorm. Then teach the words: suitcase; scarf (scarves); several; space Learn the new word: Los Angeles Think about what Mrs. Wang and Grandma should take with them and learn some new words
