so / such … that …意为“如此……以致于……”,so/such表示程度,that后接结果状语从句,表示这一程度会造成的结果。其中so是副词,后跟形容词或副词;
such是形容词,后跟名词或名词短语。
结果状语从句
基本结构:
so+ 形容词/副词+that 从句
such + a(an)+形容词+单数可数名词+ that从句
such+形容词+复数可数名词/不可数名词+that从句
在表示由于事物的数量所引起的结果时,可使用以下结构:

so much/little+不可数名词 + that从句

示结果。
★ “too +形容词/副词 + (for sb.) to do
sth.”意为“(对某人来说)……太……而
不能做某事”。
她太累了,不能继续工作。
She is too tired to go on working.
盒子太重,这个小女孩搬不动。
The box is too heavy for the little girl to
carry.

★“形容词/副词+ enough + to do sth.”意
为“足够……可以做某事”。
这条河足够深,能游泳吗?

★有时,“too + 形容词/副词 + to do
sth.”可与“not + 形容词/副词 + enough +
to do sth.”相互转换,两种结构中的形容
词/副词互为反义词。
西蒙年龄太小,还不能上学。

★有时,“too + 形容词/副词 + to do
sth.”也可与“so +形容词/副词+that从
句”相互转换。
