spend 也有“花费”的意思，过去式和过去分词都为spent。但人作主语。 sb. spend +时间/金钱+ on sth 或 sb. spend + 时间/金钱+(in) doing sth.
He spent two dollars on his schoolbag.
He spent two hours in doing his homework. 　　
另外,pay和take也表示花费。pay过去式和过去分词为 paid, paid。take过去式和过去过去分词为 took, taken。
pay只能表示“花钱”,主语必须是人, 常和for搭配,常见结构为:主语+pay(+钱)+for+物. 如: I paid ten yuan for the book.
take常用来表示“花时间”，主语用形式主语it，常见结构为:It takes sb. some time to do sth.
It takes me two hours to finish my homework every day.
公交车票通常花我一元钱。
The bus ticket usually costs me one yuan.
