Unit 5 A story—The seal 教学设计
一 教学目标
(1) 知识与技能
1 听说读写新的词汇短语等表达方式:go snorkelling, closer, blood, rock, mask , flippers,half an hour later , know a lot about…, badly hurt
2 能在老师的指导下和图片的提示下听懂、读懂小故事,并完成相关任务
(2) 过程与方法
1.以小组合作与情景教学为主,运用游戏帮助学生理解与运用所学知识;
2.指导学生通过听音、看图、读句,获取正确的信息,掌握一定的阅读技巧。
(三)情感、态度与价值观
培养学生对动物的爱心,提高动物保护意识
二 重点、难点
1学生学会认读和理解一些新的短语及表达如Let’s go snorkeling. I’ll get my mask and flippers. I think it’s blood. The seal is hurt. Let’s swim closer. Half an hour later. He knows a lot about seals. 理解海豹的小故事内容。
2指导学生通过听音、看图、读句,获取正确的信息,掌握一定的阅读技巧。

看图交流,你在海滩能做什么?图片里的孩子正在做什么?通过看图,复习短语,重点复习ride a jet-ski, 并学习新短语go snorkeling
3 Review: ride a jet ski
4 Learn: go snorkeling
snor—snorkel—snorkelling—go snorkelling 分布读go snorkeling, 培养语音能力。
5 T: What do we need for snorkeling 看图学习mask, flippers
Learn: mask flippers: fli—ppers- flippers, 分音节读,培养语音能力。
T: If I want to go snorkeling, I’ll get my mask and flippers.师用动作和实物帮助学生理解get my mask and flippers
6 The story leading-in 通过与学生一起潜水的情景导入故事
Presentation
A 整体听故事,回答: Who are in the story 通过“故事里有谁?”这个问题,整体感知故事。

(1) 用视频让学生感觉海豹宝宝的可爱,让学生能有感情地读Wow,it is a baby seal.
(2) swim closer
T扮成the baby seal说Let's play games. OK 情景游戏,老师扮成海豹宝宝,与学生玩游戏,通过动画演示,让生理解让学生理解closer
跟读:Let’s swim closer.
生试读:big -- bigger long-longer short—shorter late—later 学生试着读形容词比较级,用动作理解比较级的含义。
(3) T: Emma and Mike see a baby seal. But how is the seal
Read: hurt
Follow to read: Look the seal is over there on the rock.
I think it’s hurt. 引导学生有感情地读。
(4) T: What’s that in the water 通过问题,水里有什么?学习新词blood

看水上摩托比赛视频,了解其速度之快。引导生知道海豹宝宝可能伤得重。

6 Follow to read the story, from picture 1 to picture 9.分角色跟读故事第一部分。
C Learn the story from picture 10 to picture 18 学习故事第二部分
1 T: The baby seal is hurt. How do Emma and Mike help the baby seal
2.通过判断,精读故事部分。
Emma and Mike go back and get help from the father. They get into the boat and get it.
An hour later the T-shirt man calls Ken Jones for help.
Ken Jones knows a lot about seals.
Two months later, the baby seal is fine again.
3 Emma and Mike go back and get help from the father.
学生判断,看图理解第一个问题 .
在看图时,读Dad, there’s a seal on the rock over there. Get into the boat. We’ll go and get it. 这三句难读的句子,训练连读。
4 An hour later the T-shirt man calls Ken Jones for help. 学生判断,看图理解第二个问题

播放海豹欢乐游泳视频,展示故事结局,增强对动物的喜爱。
7理解最后一幅图Mr.Jones话语的含义。
通过学生选择Ken Jones 想要感谢谁?让学生理解Ken Jones 说 Thank you的含义。

1 Ss act the story in groups.学生小组演
2 Make a storybook 学生小组制作故事书,运用重点词句,进行练习。

T: We know animals are our friends. Lots of people love animals very much, like Emma and Mike
T: But some people don’t love animals, they kill animals.
T shows the video that human kill the seals for economic interests.
看人类为了经济利益残杀海豹的视频,激发保护动物情感。
